Walmart Vision & Glasses

I called last week to reschedule an appointment and spoke with Lee. Lee does not speak intelligible English, and I had to ask her to repeat herself. This seemed to put her directly in defense mode and she snapped at me quite aggressively. We continued our conversation and she again became aggressive with me when she could not understand what I was saying, at which time I also snapped back at her. I arrived for my appointment today and was met with rudeness and dismissiveness by the Doctor as well. I'm uncertain as to why a person who speaks such poor English is put into a position of employment where communication is the most important function of their job, particularly in a medical field, and I also don't understand why someone who quite obviously lacks mastery of the English language would be so angry and defensive simply because someone is struggling to understand what they are saying and politely asks them to repeat themselves. Having a negative experience with one of your employees should not extend to any other employee, most certainly not the physician, and office gossip, particularly regarding patients is really unprofessional. On a positive note, Sam and Lora were both very helpful and extremely professional and made up for what the other two are sadly lacking.

I want to give a great review for LEE at Walmart Vision Center in Payson AZ. I have been treated with excellent customer service each and every time I have done business there. Over the past year I have visited three or four times. I actually have had three other agents as well. Including the Doctor Allison

Do not waste your time. Scheduled a month in advance, showed up 15 minutes early. Was told it would be over an hour to see the doctor. Called another local optometrist and for $4 more I'm being seen next week. The individuals I dealt with were kind. Poor review due to wasting my time.

Great service. Both Lee and Jen were very helpful, especially when picking up my new glasses. They were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and even took the time to make precise adjustments to my glasses. The doctor did a thorough exam and made sure my prescription was exactly what I needed. The price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend.

I had a super experience today at the vision center! Starting with Dr. Barlow going above and beyond to address my concerns. I then spent a few minutes with Tammy, Lee, Lora, and Jen. I was not sure what I wanted and they all chipped in to help figure it out. I got exactly what I wanted (even though at the beginning i did not know how to articulate what i wanted) because they were so willing to ask questions and brainstorm ideas. Great experience! I've gone to this Walmart Vision Center for many years, for lenses, repairs, adjustments ... just about everything. Tammy and her team of professionals are competent, happy, and eager to help. I've referred friends and they and I have always been pleased with the affordable price and remarkable service. I appreciate their convenient hours and will continue to take advantage of their services. I recommend that you do the same.

Had my eyes examined by Allison Hoppert last month. She told me she couldn't give me prescriptions for eyeglasses because I had dry eyes, narrow angle glaucoma and cataracts. Referred me to Swangle Wooten in Phoenix, which would have involved 8-9 trips to the valley for treatment. Today I went to an ophthalmologist who informed me I did not have narrow angle glaucoma and I didn't need cataract surgery. I do NOT recommend Allison Hoppert, optometrist at Walmart Vision in Payson.

My visit was the most comfortable optical experience I have had since I started wearing glasses fifteen years ago. From the moment I walked in and met with Lee, who checked me in for my appointment, I met with the doctor who did the eye test and dialation. While I was waiting for the dialation exam, I had an enjoyable conversation with Tammy and Lee. I knew what frames I wanted for my new glasses and Lee was very helpful in making sure they were the right fit. When I went in a week later to pick up my new prescriptions. Lee was very helpful and making sure they fit right while Tammy made sure that my prescription was correct and that I could read the chart clearly. All in all it was a stress free experience.
