My surgery for an upper eye lift was back in September and am extremely happy with the results. Surgery was very painless. I followed my recovery instructions and now hardly have a scar and very happy with the results Now being a few months out I see a major improvement with my eyelids in appearance and even just less headaches and the feeling of the heavy weight is gone .

I'll preface my review by saying the front office staff and optometrist techs are wonderful - I vacillated for that reason between two and three stars. To begin, the tech assigned to me was very ill. I appreciated her disclosing her bad cold so that I could opt for another tech. (While exposure to viruses is inevitable, I personally feel eye exams require too much close contact to knowingly be exposed.) I absolutely loved the next tech. Thereafter I learned that, while I had scheduled with one optometrist, I was going to see Dr. Yates instead, with whom I was not familiar. Aside from the fact that he was the least friendly and engaged doctor I've met for some time, he was constantly trying to sell (and upsell) me on the institute's products and services. I don't visit an optometrist to experience the high pressure of a used car lot. Moreover, he didn't dim the fluorescent lights when examining my eyes following dilation - it only occurred to me later why the exam was so miserable. Later, in speaking with my mother, I learned she stopped going to the institute a few years ago because of the sales tactics. I won't be returning to this practice either.
