Active EyeCare of Surprise

Dr. Fors and her team are wonderful especially for those needing expertise with neuro-optometry and post-concussion. I have been on a long journey and finally made my way to Dr. Fors' office where I feel like I'm getting help from someone who listens and knows what they are doing. The staff is helpful, thoughtful, and welcoming makinh the overall experience a good one and worth the 1 hour drive. I saw Dr. Fors many years ago for VT and am now back for post-concussion treatment. At this point, I don't think I'd go anywhere else.

My experience at Active EyeCare of Surprise was exceptional! The staff are professional, businesslike & friendly. Dr. Fors reviewed the exam documentation with me with simplistic candor so I could understand. Dr. Fors is a solid medical professional & I am so happy that she is my Optometrist!

The Active Eyecare team is absolutely amazing! They really made the process easy from start to finish. Dr. Hoang actually made the exam enjoyable; her knowledge and professionalism were exceptional. Anna provided me with expert service, helping me select the best frames and options for my budget. I honestly didn't know what to expect following the retirement of our previous OD, but needless to say, I would recommend Active Eyecare to anyone seeking eyecare services.

The doctor took time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions without rushing. The office was clean, modern, and well-organized, and they had a great selection of frames to choose from. I appreciated how smoothly the entire visit went -- from the exam to picking out new glasses. Highly recommend Active Eyecare to anyone looking for quality eye care and professional service!

I went to Active Eye Care for an eye exam. I saw Dr Hoang. She was very thorough, knowledgeable and personable. She immediately diagnosed a condition no one else had addressed. She referred me to a specialist who I saw yesterday. He was surprised I was not more symptomatic and scheduled me for a procedure that will alleviate the condition. I certainly will return to Dr Hoang in the future.

This was my second annual eye exam at Active Eyecare of Surprise. Last year was with a different optometrist who has since retired. This year was with Dr. Inga Fors and I was very impressed with her friendly approach and professional expertise. She was very thorough and answered all of my questions. The office staff and technicians were also professional, friendly and efficient. I would certainly recommend this office for general eye care needs.

So excited to see the improved Active! The remodeled optical looks great and the eyewear selection has a variety of price points. The optical staff were so friendly and offered personal care for my needs, Anna was so knowledgable and answered all my questions, she is so patient. Although it was nice before it has gotten even better!

ve been a patient of Dr. Fechtel for several years, and I've always been extremely satisfied with the care. I've purchased two pairs of sunglasses and a pair of eyeglasses here, and Dr. Fechtel even helped me during an eye emergency when I had sand in my eyes. He was also wonderful with my visual disability. One of my favorite things about this office was the atmosphere -- it always felt like Cheers. They knew me by name, and it felt like home. Recently, though, I've noticed some big changes. Dr. Fechtel has retired, and the guy who always made me feel so welcomed and at home haven't been there. I was told Andre was no longer there and Kathy was on vacation. Apparently she's on a permanent vacation because my bestie ran into her at Holt eye care . I'm honestly glad to know where to go now.. I'm weird about who I trust with my eyes because of my disability. Plus I'm autistic so I like to feel safe and welcome. I'm super glad I found her again. I wanted to share my experience as a long-time patient and someone who truly appreciated the original team. I was super bummed they fibbed they should've just told me they weren't employed there any longer and... That's why I lost my trust in this place.
