Dr. Houman Behshad is one of the best ophthalmologists we have ever seen. He examined my son's eyes with incredible care, patience, and attention to detail. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made my child feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. We truly appreciate his professionalism and kindness and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent eye doctor.

Was seen by Dr Behshad for a routine check up when the other optometrist I had was dismissive regarding an ongoing eye issue i'm having. Boy was I lucky to find Dr Behshad. He's not only very professional but i got right in to see him. Very knowledgeable and didn't hesitate to answer any questions I had. He was able to check my concerns rather quickly and give me peace of mind until i see my specialist later this week. Thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to help. If you're looking for a GOOD optometrist who will listen to your concerns and address them Dr Behshad is your guy. His location makes it even easier because right after you can get your glasses. Thanks again doc i'll be back with my son for his exam and for my glasses! I appreciate it.

Dr. Behshad was great, no complaints there. The receptionist (the older lady) for some reason was rushed and looked annoyed answering my questions. Dr. Behshad wanted to give me some disposable contacts to try them out and the receptionist refused to give them to me. She claimed I had to make another appointment for them to give me the contacts (even though they had it in stock and I remained in the clinic for another 2 hours just waiting for my lenses at Lenscrafters). I did explained that I was going on vacation for an extended amount of time and she still insisted I had to make an appointment. Since I thought the disposable contacts were free just to try them out (couldn't ask clarifying questions to the annoyed receptionist) since I didn't really want them I didn't bother making an appointment. Today I received the explanation of benefits from my insurance and it turns out she charged me 40 dollars for contacts that I didn't want and never received. No point in going back and getting more attitude. She can keep the 40 dollars and the contacts, but she straight off scammed me.

I had a great experience getting my eye exam done here as a new patient. Between the friendly and professional staff who answered the phone and got me scheduled for a same day appointment (within an hour of the call), Dr. Behshad, who was very kind, thorough, and helpful in correcting my prescription to the correct power, and the very nice, quiet, and comfortable office, I was very impressed and am so happy I went to this location. The price of the eye exam and contacts were very transparent and fair, and I was there for less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend!

I recently visited this place for an eye checkup, and unfortunately, it was a very frustrating experience. To start, I was already dissatisfied with the service I received during my initial appointment. My eyes were incredibly dry, and after paying around $20 or $40 for the visit, I was given a single bottle of eye drops and told to come back for a follow-up.
The follow-up visit was even more disappointing. It lasted only a few minutes, and they only checked the back of my eye, without offering any real explanation of what was going on or addressing my concerns. I was simply told that everything looked fine and to continue using the drops. But here's the kicker--after insurance paid their portion, I was hit with an unexpected $57 co-pay. This was for an appointment that felt rushed, with no real solution or clarity provided.
The lack of care, the rushed service, and the surprise charges make me question whether I should continue to go here for my eye care needs. It's unfortunate because I expected better, especially after already paying for services that felt incomplete. I wouldn't recommend them based on my experience.

We were excited to learn that Dr. Behshads' office not only accepted our insurance and could give my husband the exam he needed, but could also get us in the same day! We were in and out within an hour and my husband was able to have Retinal photos done instead of dilating his pupils. Thank you so much!

This place saved me from an incredibly difficult situation. I recently traveled to Arizona to compete in a national tennis event. During my flight, I realized that I forgot to pack my contact lenses. As soon as the plane landed in Phoenix, I looked for the closest eye center I could find. I called this office and Tamara, pleasantly answered the phone and explained in a clear matter what I needed to do. When I arrived at the Behshad Eye center, Tamara greeted me with 2 boxes of the exact contact lenses I needed to wear in order to compete! Thank you !!
