The LASIK Vision Institute

A month ago I made a huge decision to do lasik to correct my vision so I no longer have to wear glasses. On top of that huge decision, I decided to do it in Arizona and not locally in Hawaii. I put my eyes in the hands of The Lasik Vision Institute in Tempe Arizona. The doctors and team there was awesome, welcoming and very thorough. One month check up today and progress is great and my vision is awesome!!! A very professional office.Takes time to answer any and all question and go into details about the procedure you will have. Surgery went great. It was fast. Healing overnight was fantastic. 10 thumbs up!!!!

STOP SCROLLING AND READ THIS REVIEW!! First off let me start of by thanking all the women that work in this office because, without you none of this would have been possible. You guys are amazing I felt right at home from the moment I stepped into your office. The experience that I had with these girls was incredible not to mention the doctor was so good that the procedure only took about 15 to 20 minutes for both eyes. As soon as I left the office I broke my glasses because I knew that I would never have to use them again! Thanks again to all the staff at the tempe office!!

I am nearly 11 weeks post-op and very happy with my results. My vision is 20/20, but I have light sensitivity in the sun and halos on street lights at night (your vision will take 3-6 months to settle). I found out about the Lasik Vision Institute through my insurance, which saved me a few hundred dollars on my procedure. The staff at both offices were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to schedule my procedure within a week of my consult. The only thing I would do differently is take the valium as soon as possible prior to procedure because it definitely didn't kick in enough before I got on the table, which made me panic a lil bit. The surgeon was cool and the surgery took less than 10 minutes I think, it was so fast! I only had pain in one eye for a few hours after the surgery, which went away with ibuprofen. I am very grateful for the 90 days of free checkups, because I went back a couple weeks after surgery just to calm my worries about preventing infection and itchiness. I genuinely recommend the Institute to coworkers and friends because of the positive experience I had. It's amazing being able to see without glasses/contacts again!!!

I am 5 days post-op and although it takes time for your vision to stabilize, my vision for the last 5 days has already been so much better than anything I ever experienced with contacts. I'm amazed by the results of this procedure and so glad I selected the LASIK Vision Institute. Treatment before, during, and after have been an experience I am so grateful for. I've worn glasses since 4th grade and contacts since high school. On the day of the procedure, my doctor said, "this is going to be life changing for you". At the time I thought it was just something said to bring comfort. In just 5 days, I can honestly say that I completely agree with him. It has already truly felt life changing.

Ug. I don't love writing reviews, but Dr Powell deserves a good one. We got an email from our vision insurance about an opportunity for LASIK at a discount, so I scheduled a free consultation. I ended up needing to reschedule once and then the office needed to reschedule me twice. The morning of the appointment I show up AT THE WRONG OFFICE. I was so embarrassed and frustrated. That was the office for one of my previous/reschedule appointments. But Dr Powell was very kind and gracious about it. She reassured me and performed my eye exam. She was thorough and answered all my questions, listened to and addressed all my concerns. Ultimately, I'm not a candidate for LASIK, but I very much appreciate the care and service offered by Dr Powell.

Wonderful experience from scheduling a consultation to day-of procedure and aftercare appointments. The staff are friendly and happy to take the time to answer all questions and be sure you understand all aspects of your eyes and the procedure specific for you. Surgeons have excellent bedside manner, talk you through the entire procedure as it's happening and make sure you are comfortable. My results are astonishing, I truly could not be happier I chose The LASIK Vision Institute for this absolutely life changing experience. I was very skeptical of all the positive reviews on here when making the choice of where I wanted to get LASIK. My consultation was simple and a little salesmen-y, with the promise that I would be able to see great within a couple days when every other place I looked up stated longer recovery times. Day of surgery went smoothly, the procedure was quick and painless, and they sent me home with everything I would need. The NEXT MORNING on my way to my follow up appointment I COULD SEE! Vision results came in at 20/15! There was such little downtime and I have had no issues over the past month. Highly recommend not only the procedure but the institute as well!

I had my LASIK procedure just over two weeks ago and it was confirmed again today that I am able to see 20/15 in my right eye and 20/20 in my left, 20/15 together. This is such an incredible gift. I had a lot of anxiety going into the procedure but was reassured that the equipment used at this facility is the most up to date in the country and the surgeon was extremely qualified to complete the procedure. From the consultation through my second follow up exam I have been treated so kindly. My anxiety was apparent day of procedure and each member of the staff helped to calm that by answering all my questions, explaining in detail what was to be expected, I didn't wait a great amount of time for the procedure to begin, my hand was held during the procedure (which was painless and so quick), and I was walked to the door and made sure my ride was present. I am very active, have 4 young kids, and work as a retail pharmacist in front of a computer for up to 12 hours a day. To not have to worry about wearing contacts or glasses is absolutely freeing. I am so glad I had the LASIK procedure and feel so lucky that I was cared for by the incredible staff at the Tempe location.
