I love Dr Ladd but I will never use Ladd Eye Care again. My work place subscribed to a new insurance and I called to see if they accepted it and was told no. I asked her to look up the insurance ID number to make sure and she refused. I called another eye doctor in town and the lady I spoke with there actually looked up the subscriber ID and low and behold it is actually still under VSP. If the lady would have just looked into it and took the number I offered she would have seen that it was still VSP it's just not listed on my insurance card. I will never step foot back in Ladd Eye Care and will not refer anyone else there. I love Dr Ladd but when you call and push the button for insurance questions and they won't look into anything for current patients. If I could give less that 1 star I would just for the lack of customer service.

I was a new patient that came in with an unrelated medical issue. The entire staff was very kind and patient as we worked through the exams. Dr. Smith was very thorough with her exam, far more than I've had in the past. Very patient with having to take more time because I was struggling. Explained everything very clearly. She knows her stuff.

They were able to get me a same day eye examination, which I belive was a blessing, they did the exam, and were great at explaining all the things they found and at my age of 63 their finding were good news no major problem and said my eyes were quite healthy. I would recommend them to any one needing there eyes checked. I had special needs being a long haul trucker I had to have two pairs of glasses as need a back up pair in my truck by law. I took there script to a one hour place and had my two pair in under and hour. The people at Ladds eye care center were fast and friendly!

Absolutely love this place. Dr. Emily Smith has been wonderful to my kiddos, both in emergent and non-emergent appointments. I always feel like they are thorough and take their time with each appointment. Happy with the front desk staff also. When my kiddo had an abrasion, they got me in right away. 10/10.
