White River Eye Care

I love going to White River Eye Care, all the staff are so friendly and helpful, they answer all your questions you have and make you very comfortable being there. I can't say enough about Dr. Sowers I love going to him, he is really helpful if you have any questions, he explains everything to you where you can understand what is going on. I had shingles back in august, and the dr called white river eye care, they had me come right away to check my eyes, and after meeting everyone, and seeing how friendly the dr and staff are, i scheduled my yrly exam. I went today for that, and again, everyone was friendly, wait time was great, and the dr is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain, and talk to you about whats going on.

I believe (from over hearing them gossiping) that they booked 3 other of my family members for my appointment instead of just me, their link to save my medical info didnt save so they asked me to refill it out at their office. I also was told my seizure alert dog may not be allowed back there for my fitting of contacts when they literally have a sign on their door about service dogs only. I booked my appointment 3 weeks prior telling them I had already had an eye exam and just needed contacts. Spent 10 minutes on hold while she confirmed my insurance covered it. Still booked me for a full eye exam and they had me filling out paperwork before they realised I only needed contacts and already had a prescription. Then charged me 40 bucks because my insurance "doesn't cover the fit". What a joke. My issue is with the desk girl and whoever came up after. Not with the doctor or the woman who helped me with my contacts. They were amazing. Very patient while I learned how to put in contacts. Edit after the owner responded: You should definitely take a look at your staff then, as nothing I said in my review was false and I was treated exactly how I stated. I'm sorry you don't seem to have a clue what is going on in your business. Whoever I spoke to told me my insurance covered EVERYTHING, which obviously wasn't true and then was told to me at time of appointment that I "could either pay the 40 or cancel." Your phone system may not allow people to be put on hold for 10 minutes, or whatever you say, but I'd be happy to send you the screenshot of the call length from my phone call history... It's really unfortunate that you discredit me when so many of your reviews talk about your staff's poor behaviour instead of taking the time to maybe watch footage if there is any security footage and investigate a review. Don't worry, I will not be back.

It was good a good visit and exam. Dr. and staff took time to explain procedures and answer questions.

Dr. Sowers and staff do a great job. Friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Highly recommend.

Love Dr Kilgore and staff!! It was the most informative and complete eye exam I've ever had!

Our family have seen Dr. Sowers for years at His Bald Knob clinic but I wanted to go to Batesville this time and see him . He was working in Bald Knob the day we went so we saw Dr. Kilgore. She was very knowledgeable, patient (children), and very thorough! My son and I got contacts that fit without any discomfort ( apparently that IS possible) *not to discount Dr. Sowers bc he is awesome too ! I'm just noting that Bc I thought contacts were supposed to be a little irritating so I never mentioned it to him. I take full responsibility on that ! The staff is awesome at both clinics too ! I ordered my glasses to be made (IN HOUSE) frames and all for $75 ,including a one year warranty for scratches! Then to top it all off I needed my van boosted off and Leigh( a staff member )went out of her way to help . She called her husband to drive up there and jump our van ! Thank you White River Eye Care !! Y'all are such a blessing!
