Horrible customer service! Front desk staff is incredibly rude and unorganized. Dr. Wooten left and they never contacted us to let us know. We drove an hour for our annual appointment just to find out upon arrival that there was no one to see us. Dr. Wooten was fabulous, but it does not appear that anyone else here cares about patients.

Dr Penick is top notch. His assurance, helping to relieve anxiety by thoroughly explaining things in such an easy way to understand. He always has a smile. He did surgery for each eye (cataracts) and I feel like I have brand new eyes/vision! Couldn't say enough about him as a Doctor. Everyone that works there has a great personality and makes you feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience. Erica is the best at helping choose eyeglasses. This is the second pair she has picked for me. I only ordered a new pair because the company no longer made replacement lenses. I would have kept them forever. But I love my new pair too. Erica found the perfect glasses for me and I couldn't be happier.

I was referred to Dr. Penick III by a cousin. Having near blindness over the past several years and having never been to an Ophthalmologist surgeon, I was apprehensive. I knew I needed Cataracts removed from both eyes. And I had worn glasses since age 12. I could no longer drive at night nor in the rain. It was hard to see in daytime. Dr. Penick was kind, spent time with me and gave me options. Of course, I wanted the best results possible. The cost was explained to the penny. My insurance and I paid for both surgeries up front. Surgery was a breeze, both times! No problems, no issues and no monies owed. This is a miracle for me. I no longer need glasses at all! And I see clearly with great enhancement. I will not go to anyone else. Dr. Penick and his staff is now my annual eye doctor. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GIFT! I CAN SEE!

I have been a patient at this office for 39 years. Dr. Brainard was the absolute best. My daughter and I now go to Dr. Baltz and we like her. I called today to make our annual appointment. The lady at the front desk was rude and would cut me off when I tried to talk. I have vision insurance for me and my 17-year-old daughter. Her dad carries her medical. The lady did not want to make an appointment for either one of us because I didn't have the most current medical card for my daughter, even though my vision insurance covers her service. It's a basic routine eye exam, she has no issues. I asked why and she said if she made the appointment and there were additional charges, I would be self-pay since I don't have her medical insurance card. I will get it and can provide it at her appointment but to refuse making an appointment based on this is ridiculous. At this point because of this experience and a couple of other previous experiences at this office in recent years, I have decided to find a new ophthalmologist. Not because of the doctor, but because of the front desk. I've never carried a balance, I pay when I'm there and they can verify my account. I have been a patient for 39 YEARS I would expect better customer service.

That's it! I will never use Dr Rozas again. He is snarky, extremely rude, and arrogant. He has no bedside manner. I was trying to ask him a question about glasses in general and he kept interrupting me until I just gave up. I made sure to tell management and to my astonishment, she laid her hand on my back and told me I wasn't alone.

Walked in office for glasses repair but first stopped at the front desk since there are signs that say everyone must check in there. I stood there and no one tried to acknowledge my standing there. A front desk clerk walked in from the front door after holding the door and conversation with an employee/customer. She went behind the desk and proceeded to write on a sticky note. The only time she looked up was to ask a Caucasian male if he needed help and he had walked in after me. The whole time I stood there, she never asked me one time if I needed anything or was already being helped by a different front desk staffer. I stopped the line right there and called it out in real time. I believe last year was the last year I will spend my money in this clinic. What a shame. I've been a patient with the original clinic for over 30 years. Maybe it's time to start over somewhere new.

I see why they have low stars the front people make a bad impression for the company all together. The doctors and staff in the back are professional and so sweet and I have that the first people you see make a bad impression it makes you not even set an appointment but I tried trusting the process. Dr. Pennick is a phenomenal doctor and I have no complaints but the Asian lady you need to find another career or get some on the job training to help you learn "effective communication" and "professionalism" your not holding your job duities to the job description you hold. You're costing the company by running people away and talking about patients when they leave as if they can't hear you be unprofessional. Throw the whole front team of workers away and start over .
