I just had cataract surgery on both eyes, a few weeks apart. I will admit, I was scared for the first one. That afternoon at my follow-up, I was totally astonished, as I could read the tiny letters. I couldn't wait for the next surgery. I had been severely near-sighted since I was 8 years old, but not anymore! I can count leaves on trees! I am so grateful my ophthalmologist recommended Dr. Pennick! He and his staff are excellent and took very good care of me. Highly recommend!

I'm a month out from Lasik and my vision is 20/20 in both eyes. Woohoo! I'm 54 (almost 55) years old, so when I made my appt with Dr. Penick, I wasn't sure if I was a great candidate for Lasik surgery. I have been wearing contacts for 25 plus years, mono vision (astigmatism correction in one eye)contacts for the last 10-12 years. I can not recommend Dr. Penick enough, it was a quick surgery and yes you are awake, but he and his team do a great job of making you feel comfortable. If you are on the fence about having Lasik, call his office today and set up a free consult. 100% recommend.

Cataract surgery at 11am on Monday and when he removed the bandaging 24 hours later, I could read the text on my phone! Without glasses! Dr. Penick suggested toric lenses and I'm so glad I followed his advice! No pain....and so much gain!
