LensCrafters

I came into this LensCrafters to try on frames, find a model number I liked, and get updated PD and OC measurements so another LensCrafters location could place my order. I've been a long-time customer and have spent thousands over the years on Ray-Ban, Versace, and now Prada, so I expected normal service. When I first walked in, the associate (a manager) greeted me warmly. But the moment I mentioned the sale would be placed through a different LensCrafters store, her entire attitude changed. She stopped helping me, didn't assist me with frames, and basically left me wandering the store on my own. The only person who checked on me at all was Winston. When I explained that the other store needed updated measurements, her first response was: "Oh, so they want me to create a ticket and not ring it up? We don't do that. It takes away from our store, and we're sending information to another store. We don't do that." I told her I travel for work and have had other LensCrafters locations do this with no issue. She said the other store could "just get it from my file," even though they specifically needed updated measurements. She then added, "I've audited other stores and we don't do that." She eventually called the other location, but during the call she repeatedly pushed them with: * "What exactly do you need?" * "His PD is right here -- what else do you want?" * "What do you need from me?" After hanging up, she turned to me and said, "I asked her three times what she needed." I told her it felt like she didn't want to help because the sale wouldn't be credited to her store. She then spun the iPad toward me and said, "Sir, I'm doing it right now." She took the measurements -- which took two minutes total -- but still refused to fax them over as requested. Instead, she had me take a picture of her iPad so I could send it myself. There were literally only four customers the entire 30-40 minutes I was there, and not all at the same time. Several associates were sitting around. The idea that helping me was "taking away from customers" simply wasn't true. The arguing took longer than the actual measurements.

I had a phenomenal experience with LensCrafters at their new location right next to PEI WEI and J.JILL at the midtown shopping center. They were patient and knowledgeable making the process nice and easy. Thank you Nichole, Joan, Winton, Harryson, and Brittney!!!

The day before Thanksgiving, a lens popped out of my glasses. I brought the pair into LensCrafters, and Joan greeted me and kindly fixed my glasses. Excellent customer service, and Joan is clearly a great employee. Hope y'all pay her well!

Definitely not the LensCrafters of 20 years ago, to say this place had horrible customer service is giving it too much. There was zero customer service. This is not a high-end boutique store you sell glasses. Your staff should act accordingly. When I would not buy the most expensive lenses that they offer the sales person had zero interest in helping me from that point on. And for a company not to be able to track the process of glasses kind of sounds like you're sending them over to China to be made.

Brittney Williams helped me today in LR office and was great! I just needed my eyeglasses adjusted, but she was very pleasant.Easy to work with and did a good job.

Our one-year-old yellow lab mix chewed my husband's lenses and this brought us to LC to use our purchased coverage. We paid the deductible and were thrilled with the service. Last week, Dear Doggie chewed both the lenses and the frame. Again, LC handled the replacement. We are so grateful for Joan and the team.
