Shackleford Family Eye Care

I've been going to Shackleford Family Eye Care for years, and they've always made me feel so welcomed. Every visit I've had, I've been greeted with smiles and kindness--never once have I felt uncomfortable or nervous about being treated badly. This most recent appointment was my first time going as an adult by myself, and I was honestly pretty nervous. But just like always, everyone was so kind and made me feel at ease. The staff truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for. I would definitely recommend them, especially to younger people who struggle with anxiety or are scared to set up their own appointments. They make the whole experience easy and comforting. I can't say enough good things about this eye clinic, and a huge part of that is thanks to the incredible lady who runs the front desk! From the moment you walk in, her warmth and professionalism create such a welcoming atmosphere that you instantly feel at ease. It's clear she's the backbone of this place--her experience and dedication shine through in everything she does. She always greets us by name before we even check-in. I've been bringing my family here for years, and it's truly her personal touch that keeps us coming back. She's always ready with a smile, quick with answers, and endlessly patient with inquiries. It's rare to find someone who mixes efficiency with genuine care so effortlessly. Her consistency means the world, especially when we're entrusting our family's eye health to someone. I am 65 and have been going to eye doctors my entire life. Dr. Van is one of the best experiences I've ever had by far. He is super patient and very kind. I would bring anyone young or old to this doctor. And... The front desk was efficient and kind. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The nurses and Dr. Van were really nice, as well as fast. Highly recommend them!

Dr Seng was extremely professional!!! Her receptionist was friendly and she was able to fit us in on a busy day. Dr. Seng was efficient and she was able to identify my daughter's eye condition and check her vision simultaneously. I definitely will return and highly recommend!!!!

Friendly and professional staff members here made everything from eye checkup to picking out glasses smooth and easy. Everything was clean and organized. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my eyes!

Let me just say first off, The customer service at the front desk is always prompt! She is always so polite and pleasant!!! Very seldom do I have to wait to see Dr.Van! If I do, It's maybe 15-20 min max! I can be in and out on my lunch break and be back in time! Lol I have had the same eye doctor since I was about 9 o 10 years old up until about 3 years ago when I moved to the Little Rock area. I live in north little rock so its about a 20 min drive, But IDC if it was an hour drive!!!!!!!!!! I'd still make the trip! After my eye exam this last time, I had to pay out of pocket because.my new insurance was not in effect yet, I examined to them I had been stretching my contacts as long as I could because on $$$$ and waiting on insurance. But after ONLY having to payout of pocket for my office visit, I got me a new prescription for glasses to take next door to the vision center, As well as a trial pair of co facts until the box I ordered come in and since I had a bit of irritation and bacteria in the eye, he sent me with a script for antibiotic eye drops, trial bottle of rewtting drops (Mase sure tomlet me know to not for the bew contacts in until infections was teeated with drops for about 3 days! For someone who has -4.25 vision in basically both eye and astigmatism in both eyes.....My eyes EVERYTHING so just within an hour and 135$ i was omw to seeing as good as possible in no time! I'll never go anywhere else in the little rock area!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Completely wasted my time. I have a job that is hard to take off for. On the phone they asked for insurance information and I asked if they took it and they said yes. They then asked for all of my info and booked my appointment. I show up and fill out new patient paperwork just to be informed I am out of network so they can't accept it. No I have to stay in pain and go back to work hoping I can find a place to get in to and I can leave my job to go.
