What a pleasure to come here after being retired for almost two years. So nice to see everyone and get greeted with such warmth. Dr. Sheppard is always so kind and thorough with her eye exams. I love this office. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

The staff here is absolutely wonderful - from the helpful friendly faces at the front desk, to the support techs, to the doctors. I had a 10/10 experience at my appointment. The doctor even notified me that my insurance covers prescription sunglasses, so I left with a new pair! Everyone is super nice, attentive, and patient. Some of the best care I've received at any doctor appointment!

My 13 year old was given extra time and flexibility to accommodate his anxiety,inattention and hijinks. Dr.Shephard explained his diagnosis with thorough and kind terminology. We were not rushed, the office staff was professional and the equipment was highest quality. Emily immediately won the respect of my middle schooler with her sophisticated fashion style, providing expert advice for choosing attractive glasses. I am immensely grateful for the life-changing care of the Alameda Optometric Group. They have given new hope to my child after years of struggling with poor vision, finally taken seriously.

I had my first visit to Alameda Optometrist Group and was thoroughly impressed. The facility is spotless--both inside and out--and equipped with modern, up-to-date technology for eye testing. Dr. Michelle Wong was fantastic. She made me feel comfortable, patiently answered all my questions, and conducted a very thorough eye exam. She took the time to explain my Optical Coherence Tomography results in detail, and I definitely recommend getting this test done. Riley at the front desk was equally great--professional, clear, and helpful with all my inquiries. What I appreciated most was that there was no pressure to purchase glasses. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish!

I went to have the follow up and prep appointments for a PRK appointment. Support was great and I really like the desk staff/support. Helpful and great at communicating. I used text for most of my communication which worked great for me. If you prefer a phone call let them know.

Great group of people. Very helpful, qualified, knowledgeable about their products and manufacturers. They are welcoming and happy to be there and have you there. It's always a very pleasant experience visiting.

Our family has been coming here for years. I have always had a smooth, delightful experience in this office with the knowledgeable Dr. Sheppard, who takes her time to do a thorough exam and explains any changes in vision well; Terry, who does the initial evaluation is a kind, older woman, who is like a batch of warm cookies, and puts me at ease; and Emily, is a consummate professional who prices out various options for eyewear and lenses. The front desk staff are always friendly and professional as well.
