Anaheim Eye Care Optometry

I had my first appointment at Anaheim Eye Care Optometry today for a routine eye exam, and it was an outstanding experience. The front desk team was warm, friendly, and made scheduling and check-in incredibly easy. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was completely finished within 30 minutes -- very efficient without ever feeling rushed. Dr. Christopher Vargas has an excellent bedside manner. He explained everything clearly, including my retinal imaging, and made sure I understood my results. I felt reassured and genuinely cared for throughout the visit. I've only been to one other optometrist before, but this was easily the best experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional, thorough, and friendly eye care.

I've been visiting Anaheim Eye Care since I moved back to OC. Parking: There's a medium sized parking lot which happens to be consistently busy almost everyday, so finding a parking spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: This office is located on the 2nd floor. Once you walk in, you'll find the elevators on the right side. Take the elevators up to the 2nd floor. The office will be the first one you see when you exit the elevators on the right. If you get lost, there's signage everywhere. Service: Booking an appointment is easy via the website they texted me. I had to choose two appointment times that fit my schedule. It's somewhat difficult finding a time because majority of the slots that are open are during my work hours. I also received a call confirming an appointment time I chose. They send constant reminders about my appointment time and date. The receptionists don't really acknowledge you when you walk in until you say something to them. Make sure to sign the sheet once you arrive then sit and wait to be called. Dr. Vargas is the main doctor I prefer. An optometric assistant will first exam your eyes before the doctor visits you. I didn't catch her name, but she gave me a lot of useful tips regarding eye lenses and contacts. Dr. Vargas was very informative and patient. He answered every question I had. Although I might not remember the proper terms, I understood the importance of taking care of my eyes. My eyes definitely got more blind by .5 and more dry compared to last year. I had to get new prescription and eye drops. Dr. Vargas also gave me coupons for Refresh eye drops. They offer all types of brands for the frames. I chose Ray-ban frames which cost more expensive, but I wanted to go with something new. It takes about 2 weeks for the new glasses to arrive. I got chose high index and anti-reflective lenses.

This place is amazing. I asked ChatGPT to give me a great doctor in the area and they were the first option. Everything from the lady who took my call and booked my appointment to the one that got me started - which thank you so much for going above and beyond and fixing my current glasses as they were pretty beat up. And thank you to the doctor, he was super cool and kind. All of you made me feel welcomed and were super helpful. Thank you

I have found my new eye care home! Was living in Huntington Beach recently moved to Anaheim and found this amazing location. 1st exam for my husband and I. Appointment making was extremely easy and convenient, found our insurance and scheduled with in the week! Finding the building a little tricky as its located inside the Wave imagine building. On 2nd floor fyi elevator is out! Stairs it is! Office was very clean and welcoming. No hassle paperwork no push for sales,will definitely recommend and have my daughter come here. 9 out of 10 ( no Elevator )

I am visiting from my current home country of Panama. The staff is so friendly! Dr. Vargas was awesome! I will wait until I am visiting next year and come back for sure! Top notch all the way around!

I'm somewhat new to the area.And i've been looking for a place to get an eye exam and a new eye doctor. Nancy at the FD was very help and answered any and all of my questions and concerns regarding my visit and billing. Dr Vargas was through with my eye exam and made it easy to understand any eye care to help my vision. Amazing staff!

Great customer service, recommend making an appt first & everything will go by fast. The ladies at the front desk were welcoming and helped out a lot. Dr.Vargas was really helpful! Definitely would recommend to anyone

Awesome staff everyone is very kind and welcoming. Dr Vargas is fast yet very thorough making sure your eyes are where they need to be. I've only been here two times and will continue for my yearly exam.
