Dr. Yang himself is great at communicating and helping you understand the intricacies of the eye. But, all doctor's offices have a high dependence on good staff. The staff now (Summer 2023) is great again as they were many years ago, but there have been several years where that was not the case (but Dr. Yang has always been good).

A graduate of UC Irvine and Southern California College of Optometry, Dr. Yang is also an examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and a Clinical Assistant Professor for the College of Optometry at WesternU. Dr. Yang relates well to his patients due to his own eye history. This includes high myopia, astigmatism, presbyopia, severe dry eyes, chronic allergic conjunctivitis with an atopic component, cataract surgery, and even open angle glaucoma with an associated steroid response. He wears progressive lenses and has worn a number of contact lenses himself.
