Valdez Eye Center

My mom tried making an appointment here and the receptionist was nothing but rude. She made fun of my mom's English and her accent. Next time you guys have a Spanish speaking option have someone who actually speaks Spanish next time ! Also this was her third attempt calling and the two other times they told her two hours before the office closed that they were closed and rudely hung up. After reading the others experience with this establishment it's not a mystery why they have such low ratings. Have better hospitality !

Very friendly staff and I am happy they come to Valdez and save me having to drive 600 miles and deal with Anchorage traffic

My husband and I have going to Dr. Valdez many years. She is an excellent doctor. Her whole staff is Knowledgeable, excellent customer service. I highly recommend Valdez Eye Center.

My son has been a patient here for going on 10 years. While their office staff seems to have improved over the years, their wait times are still ridiculous! You come in and sit for 30 minutes before they even check you in. They ALWAYS tell you to expect a "minimum of 4 hours" even if you are just in for an exam and are not being dilated. It might take 4 hours but that's just because they leave you in the waiting room that long. There are often not enough chairs for all people waiting and it seems that when your child is doing better, they make up reasons for you to come back in. If you have ANY other option, try that first.

The receptionist was very rude when I tried to make an appointment over the phone. There was nothing professional about the way they answered.

Very nice staff. Doctor was professional and courteous. We didn't have to wait very long to be called back either which was great!

Had an 8:30 appointment. Got there at 8:15. They called me in at 8:25. Saw two tecks to exam my eyes who were extremely nice and prefessional. Then ordered my glasses up front and I was done at 9:15. Everyone, including girl at the front desk and lady who ordered my glasses were fantastic. I highly recomend this office.
