I had been to two other doctors that performed Lasik, that I did not get a good feeling about. I had a friend that had this procedure performed at Caster Eye Center and I went for a consult. For what I put off for two years, I was sold the same day and came back two days later for the actual procedure. The day of they took great care of me and performed test after test to make sure everything was good to go. The procedure was quick and painless and they ensured that I was ok post procedure. Doctor Caster even called me later that evening to follow up and see how I was doing. I did great and had zero problems with my eyes. I could see clearly right away and I still can't believe my eyes that I can see without my glasses.

I had PRK laser surgery at Caster Eye Center and the experience exceeded my expectations. I had virtually no pain during healing and my healing process was smooth from start to finish. Dr. Caster and the entire team were incredibly professional, calm, and thorough at every step, which made me feel confident and well cared for. They took the time to explain everything clearly and were always available for follow up questions. I am extremely happy with my results and would highly recommend Caster Eye Center to anyone considering vision correction surgery.

It has been 5.5 years since my PRK eye surgery and I simply tell you, do it now. I had -9.0 & -8.0 (contact prescription) in my eyes. I was incredibly nervous and saw 7 different doctors before deciding on Dr Caster. He was the only one who mentioned fish oil supplementation to improve tear production and prevent dry eye. That was all I needed to know to know he was the right Dr to go with. He's direct and to the point. He knows he's good at what he does. While I had a high prescription and a slightly thinner than normal cornea, Dr Caster said I could do LASIK or PRK, but I ultimately decided with PRK just to be safe. (If you go PRK route, just take the drugs in that 24-48 hour period, sleep, wake, eat, take drugs, repeat. The pain is incredible but is gone within 76 hours as quick as it comes so just sleep your way through it.) Anyway, if you are on the fence, don't be. If Dr Caster says you are a good candidate than you are. I should have done it years earlier. Thank you, Dr. Caster. It's truly incredible that I have the gift of perfect vision. I got glasses at 5 years old and almost couldn't imagine a life without glasses or contacts. So happy to not have to touch my eyes ever again. :-)

Amazing and life changing experience! Everyone was super nice, professional, and super informative! The procedure was quick, painless and easy. Today I finally had my eyes checked after not seeing an ophthalmologist for 33 years. I just had some irritation to my left eye and wanted to be sure it was just an infection. I'm a month shy of 61 and I still don't need to use reading glasses! Dr. Andrew Caster performed four radial keratotomy surgeries to my left eye and three to my right over 33 years ago. My eyes were healing super fast where it complicated things a bit. A different doctor in San Diego had done RK to my eyes, but left me nearsighted and refused to do another surgery. He left me at 20/40 needing correction to feel safe driving. I went to Dr. Caster. He perfected them! My husband could see the cuts done by Dr. Caster, which were very thin and straight vs. the fatter and more crooked ones done by the well-known San Diego doctor. I know RK is outdated. But, what I'd like to emphasize is Dr. Caster is a highly skilled doctor who actually cares about his patients and will do the very best to getting your vision perfect. Today I was told my vision is a perfect 20/20 in my right eye and due to the inflammation my left is 20/25, which isn't the norm, but once the inflammation is gone it will be back to perfect again. Thirty-three wonderful years free of correction. Thank you, again, Dr. Caster! You made my favorite sport, swimming, so much better along with with giving me the freedom to see this beautiful world without needing a lens.

Life changing experience From the moment I walked in, everyone at the Caster Eye Center was friendly, professional, and extremely informative. They took the time to explain every step of the process and made sure I felt comfortable, never rushed. They were open to every single question I had, no matter how small. Dr. Andrew Caster and his team took incredible care of me. He's a truly amazing man -- calm, confident, and skilled. You can tell immediately that you're in the hands of someone who has mastered his craft. The entire experience was worth every dollar. You only get one set of eyes, and this is the place to trust with them. If you're thinking about LASIK, this is the spot. I'm beyond grateful for the results and for the people who made it happen.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Caster, Laura and Alicia!!! They have absolutely changed my life. I was super hesitant to get LASIK - I have horrible anxiety when it comes to my eyes and the though of lasik my me physically sick. Throughout the whole process the entire team was so accommodating, friendly and honest. I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didn't need and they walked through every single question I had. Laura and Dr. Caster even took time to call my parents, who were in a different city, and walk them through what to expect for the procedure and answer all of their questions. On the day of the procedure I was TERRIFIED. Hyperventilating and on the verge of panic. Laura held my (sweaty) hand and helped calm me down so much. She really leveled with me and was there for me in a way that I had never experienced at a Dr. office. The actual procedure was SO EASY. And PAINLESS. I read 1000 reviews and blogs of people explaining what LASIK was like and I never believed them when they said it was painless. I seriously felt nothing. The whole procedure took 30 seconds per eye and then I stood up and I could SEE!! It was the craziest experience of my life. I am so grateful for Dr. Caster, Laura and Alicia. Could not recommend them more.

I got LASIK 2 months ago and the awe and shock of the experience hadn't really sunk in until recently. From my first consultation, the front desk women, to the patient counsellor to the doctor were extremely open and knowledgeable and make me feel very comfortable. I chose to do the surgery the next week as they immediately put me at ease. And the results were amazing. My day of surgery and the surgery itself was relaxing and extremely quick. Aftercare was painless & I was able to go out to dinner the same night after a long nap and wearing my goggles. The doctor personally called to check-in on me. At my next day appointment, my vision was 20/20! I had started at -4, -3.5 so I was astonished. Every day since then I have been able to wake up and just see and appreciate my surroundings. I still have dry eyes but nothing too crazy. I am able to drive at night (LASIK also reduced the halos). I couldn't recommend Dr. Caster more! He's fantastic and his whole staff is so welcoming.
