I am a Physician myself but when I needed my Cataract removed, I called my Personal MD who is also a close friend of mine and he told me to see Dr. James Khodabakhsh in Beverly Hills as my personal MD had his cataract removed by him. I have no words to describe as to how wonderful, professional, personable, polite and skilled Dr Khodabakhsh is. I can say that he is one of top five Best Doctors in United States. I will recommend him to any of my Family and friends. I had to post this for the benefit of people who seek the best.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Dr. Khodabakhsh is a true blessing. From the first time I met him to the procedure and follow up he has been so informative and very caring and made me feel very comfortable. His office is beautiful and the staff is amazing as well. I did lasik surgery a week ago and I cannot believe how easy it was. I highly recommend dr. Khodabakhsh and I cannot thank him enough.

AMAZING! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! 6 months ago I had a LASIK performed by Dr. Khodabakhsh and that has been the best money I have ever spent in my life. After calling around looking for the surgeon that I would trust, I was recommended Dr.Khodabakhsh by a friend. I called and had the sweetest front desk lady explain me everything in detail, answer all my questions and book a consultation. I went to the consultation (which is free) and instantly felt that I was in a right place. Everyone in the office was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Dr. Khodabakhsh is very knowledgeable and makes you feel important and taken care of as a patient. I never felt rushed or pushed into anything. I decided to go through with the surgery and asked the Doctor to do it as soon as possible. My consultation was on Monday and on that following Wednesday I was already scheduled in for LASIK. Surgery went with no problems and I was done with the whole experience in less than 30 minutes. Doctor provided me with all the medication I would need for after surgery. Next day I woke up and could see! It was a bit blurry but already amazing. The procedure included 4 additional check-ups, during which Doctor made sure that I completely understand where in the process of healing I am. 6 months later, my eyes are amazing. My vision is perfect and I am so happy I went for it, especially with such an amazing Doctor. Realistically, my vision has been amazing ever since 2nd day post surgery and I was able to go back to work 1st day after surgery. Doctor is so great that I will keep coming for yearly check ups regularly.

We had appointment with him 10:30am, we arrived @10:25 and registered same time but they did not take my wife till 11:05 after I complained we came on time why we not seen him, they take her in and she came back and wait till her eyes open up for check. They told us 15 minutes, after 25 minutes I ask again what is going on, why she still waiting, front desk gave me very bad answer that if you do not want to wait, we reschedule you this was BS respond. If patient respect his or her schedule time and get there on time , the Dr. Should respect them too. After 30 minutes drive and waiting an hour they say if you do not wait, go home and make another schedule! I know Dr. Khodabash is great and knowledgeable and experienced and has great personality but the service you receive in his Torrance office is very bad.

I highly recommend Dr. Khodabakhsh because of his knowledge as a great Opthalmolgist . His skills as a surgeon are superb. He also has a wonderful bed side manner . He takes his time with each patient and explains everything very clearly . I had two Cataract this past Fall. I am extremely please with the results . My personal Ophthalmologist Dr. Jay Silverman recommended Dr. Khodabakhsh to me based on his own personal experience of having Cataract surgery as well. His office personnel are also highly trained as well. Thank you Dr. K. It's a blessing to be a patient in your office .

After multiple consults from different Doctors I've decided to get my procedure done by Dr. Khodabakhsh . He was highly recommended by a great physician that I have had the pleasure of being one of his co authors for a medical journal submission, Dr. Raymond Douglas. Dr. Khodabakhsh's bedside manner, patient education, and professionalism outstanding . Personality top notch ; knowledge and skills superior. Staff was a pleasure to work with as well, no attitudes or snobby demeanor , The surgical coordinator Morgan, was on her A game from pre to post op. So if you're looking for a great place to get LASIK or any refractive surgery go with Dr. K . I already did the research for you ; ).

I rarely write online reviews. It usually takes something horrendous to happen to me or someone to impress me so much that I will take the time to pass along info that can hopefully help another person. Fortunately for me, Dr. Khodobakhsh falls in the latter category. 4 years ago, I had an issue with my left eye. I was referred to James by friends and associates that couldn't stop praising the man. I trusted my eye sight to him and he has exceeded all expectations. He is incredibly kind and patient. Whenever I would have a concern or a question, he would always make himself available. I've referred many others to James, including my own mother (who absolutely adores the man). I am sure there are lots of Dr.'s out there that can probably help you, but I'm sure none have the heart and the caring touch of Dr. Khodabaksh.
