Ophthalmology

They were fine just with regular exams for years then it went south. My eyes were getting worse and i turned 70 and went to get my license renewed. I didn't pass the eye exam. I went back to my doctor and she said my eyes were good enough and wrote a note. Went back and they still wouldn't pass me. This started a horrible and long and upsetting journey of having to take a physical driving test. Before I took a bunch of refresher classes but was so nervous I could barely drive (haven't had a ticket or accident in about 40 years) Went to a different dmv to get something else done but brought all my papers and was crying and the guy at the desk who saw me took all my papers, came back and said you're fine and you're getting your license. My eyesight still bad and getting worse. Went back in. " oh you have cataracts and get surgery. We have an appointment in 3 months" Came home, so upset. A friend in the valley said go to my doctor!! He's amazing! Called dr. Kramar in the valley. Got in in 2 weeks. Amazing doctor, fantastic. 2 cataract surgeries scheduled quickly, My eyesight now great.

I thought this was a good place. I have had 2 eye exams there and ordered glasses there but after a year of my eyes getting progressively worse trying to make an appointment became a wildly unsuccessful game of telephone where I called 4 times leaving messages and receiving no calls back and no help at all. Hello ... is there anyone home? Lol I finally for my eyesight's sake gave up. I now highly recommend you go elsewhere... when a place can't bother to answer the phone or at least call you back then they are BLIND to customers service
