This is not the first time this has happened. I've gone to this office at least two or three times during their posted business hours (8:00 AM-5:00 PM), and they were closed.
I've shown up at 4:20 PM and no one was there. I've also gone at 8:05 AM and they still weren't open. On top of that, they don't return phone calls.
It's very frustrating and inconvenient when a medical office is not consistent with their stated hours and doesn't communicate with patients. If you post business hours, they should be accurate and reliable.
It takes forever to get an appointment. It can be hard to get people on the phone. I'm son had been waiting for his glasses for 7 weeks now!! It's always an excuse as to why they aren't ready. The Walnut Creek office is no better. They don't treat their patients very well. The staff is not very professional. It starts from the top. If the staff is not good what about the Doctors?? Think twice about who is taking care of your vision!!
This place is unprofessional. I had an appointment and called to confirm my arrival time, but when I got there, they told me I was scheduled at another location. This happened to me a couple of times, and I had to reschedule again, which meant waiting for another two weeks. They never improve their communication skills, and their apologies don't make up for the time, energy, and gas I wasted.
I should have read the reviews this place is awful I made an appointment I came in and then they tell me the doctor's out to reschedule so I reschedule for the next day. I come in they keep me waiting an hour out in the lobby while people came and went I asked them when am I going to be seen Ive been waiting a hour she said any minute so in about 5 minutes they called me in put me in a room I had to wait another half an hour for the doctor. Saw him for about 5 minutes it looked like he was on his phone when he walked in and as soon as he said what he had to say to me he got right back on his phone and as I left he's still in the hallway on his phone. This was on a Friday on Monday morning I called cuz my eye was worse they told me they didn't have anybody in the office I could go to Walnut Creek on Tuesday, which I go to Brentwood office I said I couldn't do that, she said a nurse would call me after she came back from lunch also it took six calls and two messages before I got someone to answer the phone. It's Thursday now I'm still waiting for that call. I suggest anybody and everybody find somewhere else. Also I went to make an appointment they told me they weren't seeing patients till March That's ridiculous
If I could give zero stars I would
This location is quite convenient for us. Not too far from where we live. This clinic is not too big. But there is a private parking lot. Been here a couple of times. The ladies are always very nice. The lady that assisted us today was super sweet. She actually helped with my niece with choosing the right fit and cute style prescription glasses. The styles that she had to choose from were all really cute. Additionally, she noticed my nieces current glasses were loose, so she tightened and cleaned them. And we were out of there within 30 minutes. Love it.
First of all, when I walked in, it was so packed. If I had an appointment, I would have literally left. Thankfully I was only there to look at frames. The lady working in the frames area on 8/13/24 was extremely rude. I rarely write reviews, but when it comes to healthcare I just feel like it's important. My mom and I sat down to try on glasses in front of the mirror, but when the two ladies before us left, the employee approached us with an irritated tone, insisting we move to the chairs they were sitting in. While it's fine if we needed to move, her attitude was completely unnecessary. It felt like we had to respond defensively, and oddly, her demeanor changed to friendly once we did.
Picking on those who seem like easy targets also makes you a bully by the way. As we continued looking, she rudely asked, "Did you guys pick your frames yet? I'm just asking because there are other people waiting" which caught us off guard. Apparently, only one person was allowed to look at the frames at a time. I quickly put them away and left, as I wouldn't want to deal with her for the rest of the process and didn't realize that others were waiting. While we were putting them back, we overheard her speaking rudely to another person as well. However I had a great experience at their other location in Antioch.
The medical assistant was so nice, and it wasn't busy at all. The lady in their frames department there is very sweet too. I would recommend that location over this one.
Very incompetent administrators. Drs are great but the office people need some training. 1. I had an appointment at 8:30am and I showed the admin my text she says no your appointment was at 8am even though I showed her my text but I was seen. I called two days ago about my prescription glasses to see if my new ones came in I left two voicemail messages no response. The next day I called reached the admin she just transferred me to optometrist without saying anything she could have said..." Ok I am going to transfer you to the optometrist, if they are unavailable please leave a message" nothing that was rude and unprofessional. I called someone yesterday asking if my glasses were in they said yes, she says but tomorrow we are leaving at 11:30 I confirm so I can pickup my glasses as long as I am there before 11:30 she says yes. Today I get there at 11:07am they are closed. I drove from Pittsburg. Get it together people... I am going to go back to Pittsburg this place is ridiculous!
Worst place to go they keep you in the lobby waiting, no communication. They should have enough eye ophthalmologist if they want to see patients. Pathetic
