In August 2024 we were on vacation in Oceanside from Europe and unfortunately a herpes developed on my face that spread to my eye.
The Urgent care recommended by my insurance company could not treat it. I was shocked because i knew i could loose my eye if it was not treated asap. A nice lady recommended Family Eyecare Center Doctor of Optometry and Dr. John Riggs in Carlsbad.
Dr. Riggs is one of the most patient, helpful and knowledgeable doctors I have ever met. He practically saved my eyes and our vacation.
I will be forever grateful to him for that.
