North County Laser Eye Associates

I had a highly satisfying PRK laser surgery on both eyes 10 years ago here at North County Laser Eye Associates, but recently, the vision in one eye started to slip due to old age. Dr Chen performed a PRK laser touch-up on that eye and it is seeing perfectly again! He and his staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. I rarely had to wait long for my appt and each appt was thorough and informative. I was given every chance to ask any questions and provided with any data about my vision that I requested. The PRK surgery was painless and I did not encounter discomfort during recovery (although, that may not be typical). For context, before my first PRK surgery, my vision was worse than 20/400 with an astigmatism (imagine coke-bottle glasses) and now my vision is 20/20 and clear. Amazing results! I highly recommend Dr Chen and North County Laser Eye Associates!

I have done two LASIK surgeries for both eyes with Dr. Paul Chen over the last two to three years and I have also followed up with the surgery, it has been very good. The front office staff are very pleasant, and the office is very clean. My wife also did the same surgery and she has been very happy with the surgery. I would recommend anybody who would need any kind of eye surgery to come here.

This is the most patient friendly doctors and staff I have been to. I have been a regular patient for years for both glasses and medical vision related issues. In the last year I have done Lasik surgery with them. Dr. Paul Chen is always very calm and collected, very thorough, and patient to really explain any questions you have. The times that I have had urgent issues, the doctor and staff have always squeezed me in. If I have any questions they are always quick to respond. The front staff is always very welcoming, and it makes what can be a stressful visit quite a bit more comfortable.

I have been going to Dr. Paul Chen for many years. Everyone in the office is friendly, helpful, and professional. Dr. Chen is amazing! I just went through Cataract Surgery and everything turned out great. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new Opthamologist. You will not regret it.

Dr Chen did a great job! I had PRK & am over the moon with the results! I am so stoked to be able to actually see the waves & watch my daughter surf her contests! Everything is brighter & clearer! I had no idea the world I was missing out on with not being able to see distance! The recovery was great, didn't need any meds for the procedure & the staff was great!
