Total Vision Carlsbad Plaza Dr. Stemley

I had a very positive experience here. Stacey was accommodating and so understanding and she worked with me until she knew I felt comfortable with the progressive prescription. I ended up getting progressive perscription sunglasses too and couldn't be happier. Definitely recommend.

This particular total vision location is the best in San Diego county. What makes it so great is the manager Stacey. I was having trouble getting my prescriptions corrected that came in wrong from another total vision store and wouldn't arrive in time for me to leave for an extended trip right before Christmas. I called Stacy and she went above and beyond to help me out. She worked with other members of total vision to get my lenses corrected and delivered to the Carlsbad Plaza location. She even met me at the store on a Sunday so that I would have them for my trip the next morning. Stacy truly cares about her customers and is absolutely amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

My husband and I have been going to Total Vision for over 5 years and I'm very surprised that I've never written a review. The entire staff is so kind and helpful. They're always willing to research and get the best deals for our contact lenses and glasses. They're all very professional and clearly explain and understand our vision benefit structure. They will do their utmost to provide excellent customer service; ALL the ladies are Fabulous! Although Dr Stemley is no longer there, we appreciate the new doctors providing excellent service too. We trust Total Vision with our vision care!

1st word is awesome that comes to mind. I was there few of days ago. I have double vision from a traumatic brain injury four months ago. I have seen eye doctor previous to this one and the two month experience with the doctor and trying to get glasses was horrendous. My brother and sister-in-law referred this practice to me. Doctor Karshak was more than amazing. Explained the problems and options with double vision when it comes to prism glasses. Explained other options to use without hurting my neck by moving and keeping it in certain position to see better. I had glasses from other eye doctor that took 2 months. Neither pair helped. The staff here is also awesome and very welcoming. When the website says they treat you like family, they do. I would encourage anyone with vision issues to check them out.

I want to highly recommend this office along with a personal thank you to Dr Kashak for her care during a standard eye exam for glasses. My wife and I were offered the extra photo exam of our eyes which takes and even closer view of the eye than the doctor can accomplish through standard magnified viewing instruments. It was at this point that Dr Kashak inquired about a spot she noticed in the photos and whether it had been pointed out to me in previous exams, it had not. Without showing over-concern she recommended that I go to an ophthalmologist to have a closer look asap. (they maintain even greater viewing technology than available at Dr Kashaks office). She then had her assistant reach out and find a doctor who could take me quickly and helped make the appointment. I didn't think much of it but took her advise. It was only later when I googled what the Dr may have seen that my heart dropped. This could be VERY serious! Now I was anxious and glad that I was going to have this looked at quickly. The great news is that upon a deeper look the spot was not what had been feared, but I was still extraordinarily appreciative of Dr Kashak acting quickly out of prudence on my behalf! She and her staff sincerely care about their patients! Thank you Dr Kashak and staff!

I have been going to Dr. Stemley for 10 years, and am very happy with my vision and the excellent customer service that I receive. I always leave knowing that if I have any issues with the way my glasses fit or my vision, they will work with me to make my glasses fit comfortably and ensure that I have the best possible vision. It is a very friendly atmosphere and I feel welcomed and valued. And bonus...they have really cute frames too!

I visited the store to inquire about purchasing contact lenses and received exceptional assistance and a highly professional recommendation. The service exceeded all my expectations, and the branch manager went above and beyond to help me. I left extremely satisfied with both the kind attitude and the excellent service provided.

This place rocks! Everyone at the office is super friendly. I got my contacts and glasses here. I struggle with finding glasses that fit my small face but they were very helpful in finding me the perfect pair. I came in recently because I felt like I had a rock in my eye. It was driving me mad so the next morning I called and they were able to get me in for a same day appointment. Dr. Kashak swiftly and painlessly identified and removed the little bugger stuck in my eye causing me all this grief. Seriously can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Total Vision team! Really appreciate you guys :)
