Costco Optical Department

I spent days looking at different companies for a good looking pair eyeglasses . All of them was at least a 2 weeks complete after they receive your mailed in frame(s). Went to Costco and saw the same eyeglasses frames I loved and put in my order on Wednesday evening and it 2as ready by Saturday evening. Oh and Costco have a $50.oo discount on your 2nd pair.

Rey and Mindy, two employees in the Optical Department, went above and beyond to help me solve a lens problem with two pairs of glasses I recently purchased. They were helpful, kind, and courteous, and they showed excellent teamwork to figure out the issues with the lenses. I had been in previously to address this problem and was made to feel as though it was my eye doctor's and my own fault, and that their lens calculations were correct. After I left unhappy, I contacted my eye doctor and confirmed that my prescription was accurate, which had wasted a lot of my time. Rey and Mindy carefully examined the issues, found the errors that had been made, and fixed the problem. Kudos to them both!

Literally says "walk-ins welcome" on the door - maybe you could make a note or print out a little paper that says YOU NO LONGER TAKE WALK-INS!! - it's not rocket science. We waited an hour for the exam clerk to come back from break and tell us that the optometrist is retiring and no longer taking appointments or walk ins soooo big waste of my time.

I HIGHLY recommend the services of the Chico Costco optical department. Jenni and other team members expertly guided me through the options available to make my long-term experience ideal . They also took the time to troubleshoot problems I've had with previous glasses (mistakes I was making with my glasses care). While they clearly cared about the other customers in line, they took the time to make sure they fully assisted my needs with kindness and patience. Thank you Chico Costco optical for your kind and detailed assistance!

Came to get a replacement earpiece screw for my frames that had been held together with a piece of wire for months, which it turned out had only broken the frames more. Jeni went above and beyond, removing the wire and finding a new set of earpieces to screw on that color coordinated with the rest of my frames! Her can-do attitude saved my day. No more headaches from crooked glasses while I wait for my next optometrist appointment! Thank you Jeni!! :)

Horrible. The people here seem like they hate their life, ESPECIALLY this older dark haired woman with dark glasses. If I ever catch her name in the future, I will be sure to update this post. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

My father had an appointment yesterday. Receptionist was super sweet and very efficient. Doctor was wonderful. Staff at the counter awesome. I live three hours from Chico but I scheduled my next eye appointment with them. Highly reccomend.

Deena and Mindi are the best! They both go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of regardless of the number of other customers waiting. They are under so much pressure due to the volume of customers yet they both spend the time needed to take care of you as if no one else is there. Very personal and professional.
