Family Eye Care

I have been with Dr. Clarke for quite some time now...always a good visit, never rushed. Dr. Clarke and staff are friendly, so helpful, along with being thoughtful and caring. It's also a very good sign when you hear laughter in the office. As a layman, equipment appears to be continuously updated. Nice location along with ample parking.

I enjoy my yearly visits to Family Eye care. Everyone, literally everyone, is so nice and friendly. They do an excellent job and make sure you understand the health of your eyes. They are patient and answer all the questions. Plus, they have an excellent selection of eyeglasses. The eye glass department staff is very nice, knowledgeable and caring.

We had an excellent experience at Family Eye Care in Chico. I'm extremely impressed by their entire professional staff. We had another eye care center drop out on our scheduled appointment. Due to not having a pediatric optometrist on staff. We called around trying to find another option. Finally we found Family Eye Care in Chico! They were immediately warm and friendly. But, I was told they didn't have a slot in the time I needed right now, so we said our goodbyes. As soon as we hung up I got a call back stating they had talked to the Dr about our situation and made room on the schedule to fit us in! This was the 1st time our 3 grandchildren had an eye appointment, so to me this was incredibly fortunate turn of eventa and also a kind thing for Family Eye Care to do for us. We got to our appointment and the staff were great with our grandchildren. The entire experience for myself and our grandchildren from Family Eye Care was absolutly exceptional. I could not recommend them enough. Especially if you need an eye exam for young children.

My experience from start to finish was great. The whole process of getting my exam was quick & efficient without feeling rushed. Dr. Hammang is kind, easy to talk to & took the time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend both Family Eye Care & Dr. Hammang to anyone looking for a more personal experience than you may find elsewhere.

I loved your beautiful and kid staff from beginning to end. I also love he technology the used, except for the bright light, it was above and beyond excellent; I wish they did surgery for cataracts. I hope my referral to Dr who solely cataract surgeon that he is as Caring as FEC!!

Family eye care is really good at helping you feel comfortable! I've been going to them for years, and every experience is pleasant and professional. They take their time to make sure your needs are met.

I have been a Family Eye Care Customer for years. The lobby is comfortable and very clean. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. I must comment on the optometrist assistant who helped me on my latest visit. Karina was ultra professional, as are all in the office, but what made her stand out was her charming personality. For some of us with serious eye issues, a trip to the optometrist can be a stressful experience. Karina has a way about her that makes you feel calm and relaxed, you know you are in good hands and are getting the best care possible. Dr. Clarke is the best there is; he spent a lot of time with me, not only reviewing every option but setting up different equipment so I could see exactly what my vision would be with each one. Thank you to the Family Eye Care team for all you do, with special thanks to Dr Clarke and Karina for making my visit a wonderful experience.

I wish the eye Dr i see here was a Family GP or a DO, i would see her for my issues no hesitation. To clarify- im sad i can only been seen for vision here. They are fast, courteous and efficient. I am usually able to get in and out in a little less than an hour- with two or three of my children Getting their appointments, taken care of at the same time. As a dad who is outnumbered by kids his lovely kids and poor choices being able to get appointment for multiple family members done all at once is a massive time saver.
