My experiences here have been barely two stars. The staff farms you in and out of their office constantly 45 mins after you scheduled time. I get reminded phone calls 5-7 days ahead which I have expressed that I prefer a two day heads up.

Awful, specifically the office manager who decided NOT to tell patients that the doctors were running late. My mom works full-time (in her 60s) and took time off work to go to her appointment, only to wait for half an hour, then be told there are only two doctors on staff and they are running behind so she has to reschedule this appointment and use more of her "sick time" from work. She was told "the office manager decided not to tell patients that the doctors are running late." That is awful customer service and an awful decision. The office manager needs to be replaced.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Patel, the retina specialist, and his nursing staff! From the moment I arrived, the reception was welcoming. The nursing staff was attentive, ensuring all my questions were answered and that I was comfortable throughout my visit. Dr. Patel demonstrated exceptional knowledge and compassion, taking the time to explain my diagnosis and treatment options in detail. I felt truly cared for and confident in the care I received. Highly recommend Dr. Patel and his wonderful team for anyone seeking expert retina care!

I will keep this short. I have had several appointments in this office having had 2 detached retina surgeries. I have seen several Doctors however I have to say Dr. Sarju Patel has to be the rudest
Doctor I have ever seen. He walk into the room. Never said hello, never introduced himself. He was more interested looking at the scheduling board on the wall than recognizing his patient. He told the nurse he did not know he had to work on a certain day and was not happy about it. He spent maybe a minute looking at my eye that had surgery the previous day and said it looked OK and walked out of the room. No time for any questions or anything...he was gone! I will make sure I never get Dr. Patel again!

I am very disappointed in Retnal Consultants. The doctors are not a problem but the staff is. I went to Retnal Consultants for my appointment, when I went the receptionist's desk she informed me that I had to sign in on a tablet. People are not machines they are human beings why even have a receptionist if she is too lazy to check you in? I have never liked the receptionist she is cold and borderline rude and lazy. Some time back I spoke to the office manager about the fact that the staff when calling a patient into the exam rooms would only come into the reception area a few feet and call names. I explained that people in the far side of the room could not hear their names being called, especially people like myself who are hearing impaired. The office manager agreed it was a point: how ever nothing was done. I guess the staff are just too lazy and have no respect for their patients. If you want to be treated like a nonperson go to Retnal Consultants, but if you wish to be treated with dignity and respect and want to feel welcome go somewhere else.

I had been treated on and off for 8 years. Last month I went in and the office staff wanted me to sign up for an assistance program, that I don't need, I have two insurances. Three different staffers tried to get me to sign up. I continued to say no. I was then told that if I wanted to get my shot,I need to pay$347, which has been covered by my insurance. They argued with my wife. Then when the doctor came into my room he tells me to tell my wife to quit yelling at his staff. I couldn't even hear her talking. Now DR REED, has determined that I can't go to Retinal Consultants. I have been a patient for years and have seen this man twice. I shouldn't be penalized for thier pushy assistance promoters.

Wow what can I say about Dr. Medina. I call him the wizard of eyes. Upon meeting him with a severely detached retina he informed me that although he would do his best I probably wouldn't get my sight back. However, the wizard did he magic which in this case is extreme abilities and saved my sight. Of there are more outstanding details like the supremely excellent staff!! Dr Medina is extraordinary and a great person.
