Sagar Shah, OD - Warby Parker

I have the Warby Parker Lyon glasses and I needed an annual eye exam, so I booked one with Dr Shah. I have to say he is by far the best optometrist I've been to. Thank you Dr Shah for being so friendly, making me feel comfortable and listening to me while offering your professional expertise and advice. You were honest and made the experience fun.

As my first eye exam in over two years and as a new patient to the Warby Parker company, I always worry about the type of care and protocols in place for COVID-19. When I arrived outside the storefront, there was someone outside to take my temperature and provide me with hand sanitizer before I entered the store. They were limiting the number of customers to 4-6 inside, which allowed me to feel safe and comfortable inside the shop. Once I entered, the doctor came out to greet me (very punctual, might an I add) and took me to the back for my eye exam. If you are a little extra cautious like me, you are always curious, even with a mask, about what you are touching and who touched it before you, and if it is sanitized. The doctor washed and sanitized his hands, and to my surprise, I didn't have to physically touch anything besides my chin and forehead to the machine, which the doctor sanitized and cleaned before my use--knowing that 1. Everything is electronic, and 2. I didn't have to worry about touching anything, and I immediately started to feel at ease. Naturally, I am always afraid of the machine, possibly touching my eyeball, but Dr. Shah made it relaxing and comforting and added humor to the exam. His bedside manner is phenomenal. Talk about staying positive, happy, and cheerful for patients. I enjoyed telling him about previous eye issues with my immediate family, and he tested my eyes to everything accordingly. Once my exam was over, Dr. Shah walked me out of the exam room to where I needed to choose frames. Not familiar with the brand and pricing, Dr. Shah introduced me to his staff member, who helped me find frames. The staff is so energetic and makes you feel great about trying on glasses. Felt like I was at a fashion show. It took many employees to help me decide which frames to purchase. I would also like to point out that once you touch/try on a frame, there were boxes in the center of the store where you placed the "dirty" frames so the staff could sanitize and clean them. I tried on about ten different frames before picking two frames I fell in love with! Even though the glasses were not available right away for purchase, I placed an online order with the help of a staff member inside the store and received my glasses within 1-2 weeks (granted, we are on COVID-19 time). There was no rush, and they were so patient with me, helping me decide how to dress up my eyes! Dr. Shah's staff, Dr. Shah himself, and the protocols they have in place made me feel comfortable and ready to visit again. My 12 year old son has been in front of too many screens for far too long and I became concerned about what it was doing to his vision. I knew that he had to have eyewear protection and figured that instead of simply getting him some blue light glasses we'd have him examined. His mom and I took him to see Dr. Shah at Warby Parker in Corte Madera. I'm very happy that we did. We learned that our Lil guy needed a slight reading prescription. We really appreciate the care and professionalism with which Dr. Shah treated Kaiden, our family. We ordered a pair of glasses for him and it was the easiest, most pleasant experience we've ever had getting an eye exam and glasses. If you, your loved ones/friends are looking to get an eye exam, Dr. Shah at Corte Madera Warby is very much worth the trip.

Amazing doctor who redid LensCrafters prescription and finally listened to me. 5 stars. I have 6.5 plus astigmatism if it helps.

Was able to schedule a same day appointment for a quick eye exam and left with a prescription for regular glasses as well as progressives. Provider gave personable, professional service! Highly recommend!
