You may have your rules, and your rules are not friendly to patients. I need to book a quick appointment without insurance info at hand. The receptionist is totally a waste of time just keep repeating the same saying we cannot book for you. Called another provider and they booked immediately for me and I can bring my insurance info later. That's the DIFFERENCE of how you treat patients. I am glad this place didn't book for me now so I don't need to choose this place.

I have been to the Spectrum ophthalmology department several times. Mei at the counter is very experienced and serves patients very carefully, seriously, thoughtfully and kindly. She helps solve problems and is a hard-working person. I encourage Mei and give she a thumbs up.

Having been Dr. Mastman's patient for a
long time, I was surprised to find out the
clinic refused to schedule an appointment
with him because I had cataract surgeries
performed by an eye surgeon outside the
Spectrum group.
The office stated it was their policy to not
see patients within 90 days of a surgery if
performed outside the Spectrum group.
The most vexing part is that I had asked
to be seen by a cataract surgeon at this
clinic who declined to see me because
she does not like to use the lenses I
wanted.
As a result, I am no longer Spectrum's
or Dr. Mastman's patient. One cannot
afford to be a patient of a physician
whose availability is contingent on
not being treated by other physicians.

Dr. Leanna Nguyen is such an amazing optometrist and I will continue to see her as long as I can - she's incredibly friendly but also good about making sure you understand what's going on. Also Quynh was so sweet in helping me find a new pair of glasses and answering all my questions about insurance.

Came in to this location to see Dr. Mastman As I had something in my eye. He numbed my eye and was able to quickly remove the foreign object from my eye. He did give me a stern look when I told him that I waited 2 days to go in C; Long story short, Dr. Mastman took me in on a moment's notice and took really good care of me!! 10 stars!!! The office is also very nice on the inside with lots of seating

I had an annual eye checkup here. The doctor and technician were really good and professional. Answered all my questions and concerns. However, I wished they could have done better training their front desk staff. I called the office to confirm they took my insurance before I scheduled the appointment. It turned out they actually didn't and I only knew that a year later with a surprise bill!
