America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I have been here twice now once for my son's contacts then again because he broke his glasses. 10/10 would recommend!! The staff is always cheerful and very knowledgeable about their products! We were able to get 2 pairs of glasses for cheaper than our usually spot Kaiser!! Will definitely be going back and recommending to family members!

I bought glasses from here two weeks ago and my order has been delayed. When talking to the rep they informed me my glasses are not expected for another 5 days and to take care. No other explanations were offered until I pressed for details about the delay, asking if it was typical. The rep stated they are being shipped and waiting for arrival. They then told me to have a great day and hung up the phone. A little reassurance would have changed this interaction to be a bit more positive. As it stands now I don't think I will be returning here, may just get my refund for no delivery and will look to get glasses elsewhere. Update: My glasses are delayed again. I am well past the 14 day waiting period and my only options now are to have wasted two weeks getting glasses and start over or wait for a company that cannot guarantee the product will arrive within the time frame given. Will never come to this company again.

Ebony has great customer service skills. Very knowledgeable. She explained everything clearly.

This review is not for the doctor currently at the El Cajon location. She is amazing. It is for America's best altogether. In my opinion they should be avoided. My initial appointment for new contacts and glasses was in February.... But they ordered the wrong thing. Then they had the wrong prescription. Then they forgot to order. They NEVER call when my trials come in so that I can come try them on. It is now August. I still have no contacts or glasses. When I contacted the main corporate customer service to see if I could get a refund so that I could go to another company, they sent me a run of the mill email to say no, but we are so sorry, have a nice day. No solutions offerred. Unbelievable.

They need to change their name. I live in Idaho and from out of state and needed a trial set to get me through the rest of my trip. My doctor and Idaho said you can walk in anywhere and they should be able to take care of you. This place said they will not give out trials.

My mother and I had a great experience with this optometrist. Eboni greeted us right away, seated us, found our insurance providers and quickly got us checked in. The doctor was ready for our appointment right on time, and gave each of us the customized, unrushed care needed. Then Eboni had just the right amount of presence, even asking my mother if she'd like to see the petite frames. Eboni and Francisco were very professional and pleasant while handling many phone calls and several other guests. We were out within an hour, and felt well cared for in the hands of a great team.

They greeted my son and me warmly, immediately making us feel comfortable. Myra efficiently confirmed names when I called back to ensure I'm spelling the team at this optical, When I visited Corinne skillfully fixed my gray glasses, and Eboni provided a clear recommendation and quote for my other pair, explaining my warranty options thoroughly and ensuring I had all the information I needed. Their urgent customer care was truly remarkable. I'm so grateful for their professionalism and how quickly they resolved everything. I highly recommend this location to anyone needing eyewear services. And a special mention to Vanessa at the Lemon Grove location for her helpful consultation the day before!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. I've taken my daughter to this location when they used to be eyeglass world and recently went back for my daughter's new prescription. There was a man there but I did not get his full name. I just know he was Middle Eastern heavy set and he was the only male working at that location that day, he was way to touchy with my 9yr old daughter and at one point even pulled her closer from under the table towards him and I stepped in and asked him to let me adjust my daughter he then proceeded to constantly try to have contact with her hands to which I kept interjecting and moving my daughter because I felt he was just being weird. I've never had this experience before and my instinct told me something was off so I told him we needed to hurry up so we could leave and we left. My husband went to pick up her glasses when they were ready and told me that the gentleman was there and he got the same vibe from him based off his interaction with him.
