Prince Prescription Glasses & Optician

I cannot recommend Prince Optical enough. Aeven truly went above and beyond for me. I had my Meta glasses and needed them done the same day. I went to multiple optical shops before this and every single one told me it could not be done or that I would have to wait days. Aeven made it happen the same day without hesitation. If you need anything optical related, especially something other shops say cannot be done, this is the place to go. Quick service, in house lab, and exceptional attention to detail. I will absolutely be coming back and recommending Prince Optical to everyone I know.

I had a very disappointing experience with Prince Prescription Glasses and Optician. I brought my work glasses in because one of my scopes had detached from the binocular flip-up assembly that mounts onto my loupes. I was told this could be repaired and that I would get my loupes back as if nothing had happened. Instead, his work caused additional damage that has now pushed them past the point of repair. There was never an alignment issue before I brought them in. The only problem was a detached scope. I specifically explained that the connection needed to fit together precisely. However, he distorted the connection where the scope links onto the flip-up mechanism, so it no longer fits correctly at all. On top of that, the binocular adjustment mechanism and knob -- which were functioning properly before I brought the glasses in -- were damaged after his work. The knob is now stripped and cannot properly adjust the binocular distance in or out anymore. To make matters worse, it appears he attempted to conceal the damage by applying marker to the frame where it had been altered. This did not hide anything and instead made the glasses look visibly damaged and poorly handled. The condition they were returned to me in looks hideous and reflects very low-quality workmanship. So what started as a single detached scope turned into multiple new problems that did not exist beforehand. Because the connection points and materials were distorted, the glasses are now at a point where they cannot be properly repaired anywhere else. I was also given inaccurate timelines. I was told they would be ready, came back the next day, and they still weren't done. I then had to wait hours. When I raised concerns, I was told to try adjusting them while wearing them, which is not appropriate for precision work glasses and ignored what I had explained from the start. Overall, this experience wasted my time and resulted in very expensive and meaningful work equipment being damaged beyond recovery. I feel I was misled about what could be accomplished and am extremely disappointed in the workmanship and professionalism. I will be posting photos so others can see the condition they were returned in. I would not recommend this place if you value your eyewear or need careful, precise work done.

Yesterday I crushed my glasses by accidentally leaning on them. Temples, both flattened and one of the oval's that hold my lens was tweaked, where the lens popped out. I took them to Price where he said he could fix them or at the very least, replace the frame. Not only did he fix them, but he didn't charge me a thing. I also found out that he has a huge supply of glasses and sells them for typically $200 less than any other place. And he also does a lot of same day as he has a lab in the back. I highly recommend this store both for repairs and for new glasses. What a great guy.

After seeing good reviews, I went into this shop today to get my glasses fixed. The owner was helping another customer and told me he would be with me shortly. I only waited about 5 minutes. He looked at my glasses and fixed them within 10 minutes. It was an easy repair, but he did not charge me anything. He was very nice. He has an extensive selection of glasses and an on-site lab. I also like that he has evening and weekend hours. I plan to come here the next time I need to purchase glasses.

Great selection and very helpful! Came in with Prada sunglasses that sadly decided to break on me. Thought the fix would be pricey but he fixed it for free. Lots of parking and in an area, where you can get a lot of other errands done. Will definitely be back for a fresh pair of reading glasses!

Went in the shop was greeted by the owner I believe, found me frames very quickly. Gave me a good deal and a gift all within 10 minutes at most. Excellent service

Great place in El Cajon too have your glasses repaired or even purchase many brands and frames to choose from staff is really friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend them if you need any services with your glasses. I needed a repair to my sunglasses was ready in one hour. They were complete like new ready for use. I will be shopping here for any other needs of glasses love doing business with Mom and Pop shops.

Amazing place to go for basically any of your eyeglass needs. Everyone here is so kind and helpful. I came in to get prescription lenses for my sunglasses and they had the best pricing and service out of everywhere I went. He even offered to fix my normal glasses for free but I didn't have time unfortunately. Would highly recommend Prince Optical!!
