Total Vision El Cajon

Customer service and reception knowledge needs improvement! For 10 years this has been my go to optometrist location, during last two years there have been challenging inconsistenties with reception customer service and support. Scheduling an appointment months in advance for a Friday afternoon, I received a phone call late in the afternoon on Thursday the day before the apt. notifiying me that their office is now closed on Fridays and I will need to reschedule. Needless to say, I had to take additional time off work for a second appointment. Arrived at the newly scheduled appointment and was told there was no record of me on file and would need to supply all required information for new patients. This was rather disturbing news! After providing the required information requested there was a 38 minute wait which was well beyond my appointment time, note ...there was only one other staff person in the office other than the Dr. The receptionist also covered assisting the family picking out glasses and also covered retina testing. More support staff is needed in this office, quality trained staff would be nice as well. Its time for me to find a different optometrist!

I have been going to this location for two years along with one of my adult sons. The doctors are great but who ever answers the phone can be frustrating. It's mainly about records and a few times being told I have no record there as a patient, or one time misplacing my son's glasses etc. I hope in the future that can improve because it gets to where we don't want to call in to the schedule because there seems to always be an issue.

Dr Harrington is WONDERFUL! we got prescription glasses here and she helped me find the perfect prescription. I was struggling for years trying to find someone who could get it right for me and she did! Astigmatism sucks! But she helped me tremendously!!! Lovely staff and overall had a really good experience with the Dr. :)

As always, the check in, exam and eyeglasses purchased went smoothly. Dr. Sherri Deaner-Harrington was so easy to work with and explained things in detail. Would highly recommend this office for all your eye care needs.

they closed before the time at 5:02 I asked the girl locked the door and she walked to her car didn't even explain and my broken glasses frame in my hand

From my first phone call to schedule an appointment to my visit, I was impressed with the service and professionalism. I have been in customer service for 25+ years and theirs exceeds expectation. Dr. Weiss knows her stuff and is great at making sure the patient does. Her staff is amazing and helpful! They have the latest and greatest in equipment and it was so nice not having my eyes dilated with drops. Great experience and I would highly recommend using Dr. Weiss.

It's ok, it takes a while to receive your rx glasses, the receptionists are a little negative, but hoping they fix their behavior in the future, the optometrist is amazing, Sherry was very informative and kind; she made the experience great for my young daughter, thanks again Sherry!
