I am so pleased with my experience at Escondido EyeCare. I visited twice; first to try-on a pair, then a second time to order my glasses. The staff were professional, patient, kind and knowledgable. They accommodated my vision needs, understood my concerns, and presented me with a beautiful collection of glasses. I found a frame I quickly loved; it's durable, well-made, stylish and extremely affordable. It fits me perfectly. Both the doctor and the technicians were readily-available to answer all my questions. They offered me lens options that were reasonable and important (UV + AR coatings, lens material upgrades, tints, transitions, etc.). They even allowed me to "demo" the lenses and see the quality in front of me. So helpful, without pressuring me to buy. The doctor took additional measurements several times to ensure my best fit and most-accurate vision. This made me feel like I was in phenomenal care. The glasses came back from the lab weeks before they were estimated, which was exciting. They fit and feel so wonderful, and I'm so pleased with the lens clarity and overall look. I trust these glasses, love my prescription, and am really blessed to be with Escondido EyeCare. These people know how to provide exceptional service and extraordinary care. They offer the best value and the most-immediate service in Escondido for Medi-Cal / VSP patients. I highly recommend Escondido EyeCare for the genuinely valuable offerings without any of the shady tactics of the other shops.

Escondido eye Care is a great place to go. They were able to schedule my appointment to fit my needs. The staff there is very polite and it's very clean.

We love this place! My husband and I both got appointments for the same day. The staff was super friendly and courteous. Things were explained more than by any other eye doctor we have ever been to before. Definitely returning next year.

This place gets a gold star from me; I was treated well and all the reviews that mention the level of detail Dr. Verrett provides are spot on. He absolutely takes the time. That's hard to beat. Look 'em up, you'll be glad you did.

Unfortunate $50 mandatory retina scan required for a visit but seems like it was useful in the diagnostic and not a waste. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Professional atmosphere. Quick service, and clear information about visit and next steps!

I'd been meaning to find a new optometrist since moving to North County, and I'm so glad I decided to make an appointment at Escondido Eyecare. I made the appointment and filled out my medical paperwork online, so I only waited about 3 minutes after checking in. The entire staff is friendly, and Dr. Verret is great! He takes his time explaining everything thoroughly. They also have a large selection of frames and are patient in helping you select the right pair. I received a wellness exam, retinal scan, vision exam/consultation, updated prescription, and ordered new glasses all in under an hour.

The doctor very friendly. He referred me to a Cataract specialist which is out of Network, so I obviously I want to see an In Network specialist. Unfortunately my appointment is in February. My original appointment was in December. He provided me with 1 pair sample contacts. I called to see if I can obtain 1 more pair until I see the In Network specialist is February and after that appointment I can figure out if I will be ordering 7 months supply or more. The response was no that I needed to purchase a pair and it would take 5-6 weeks. I asked don't you have another sample you could provide me. I can't wait 5-6 weeks! The and was no. Had I known that I would have placed the order that day! Another thing I didn't care for, I had to pay for the appointment prior to seeing him. I have NEVER had to pay before seeing the doctor. I have ALWAYS paid after completing my appointment! This place was a HUGE disappointment! I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone!

I've been here to see Dr. Verret several times over the years. I recently lost my glasses and haven't seen so well lately, lol. Mellisa, a lovely young woman was great in helping me find a new pair of glasses. I splurged and got a very comfortable pair of GUCCI glasses. I wanted a new subscription but didn't want to wait a few months for my insurance so Dr. Verret gave me a very reasonable price to recheck my eyes. Once he moved the right lens slides in front of vision was wonderful seeing crisp and clear lines again. Really looking forward to it my new GUCCI glasses being finished in a couple of weeks.
