We cannot say enough wonderful things about Escondido Optometrix and Garrick Sit, O.D.. Dr. Sit has been seeing our son since he was 7 years old, he's now 11, and over the past four years, his care has been nothing short of exceptional. He has an incredible ability to connect with kids (and adults!) through humor, warmth, and genuine situational awareness. He doesn't just conduct an exam, he relates real-life experiences to what he's explaining, which puts each patient at ease and makes the visit engaging and meaningful. His bedside manner is truly unmatched. Dr. Sit also cares for both my husband and me, and every visit feels like catching up with someone who genuinely enjoys what they do and truly cares about their patients. He is knowledgeable, personable, and an absolute joy to be around. The office staff at Escondido Optometrix deserves just as much praise. They are friendly, coordinated, and incredibly easy to reach, whether by phone or text. From scheduling appointments to helping us choose eyewear, they consistently create a comfortable, welcoming, and stress-free experience. We feel so fortunate to have found this practice and wholeheartedly recommend Escondido Optometrix and Dr. Garrick Sit to anyone looking for outstanding eye care for their entire family.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Sit's office for years and we would never want to go anywhere else. Our experience has always been great! The front office staff is very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Sit is not only very professional and kind, but he always takes the time to explain clearly about your eye health and answer all of your questions. I was so impressed with the knowledge and care that I received from Dr. Sit. I was previously going to another physician in Escondido . He has since retired. I have chronic dry eye. My previous physician tried what he could but nothing worked. Dr. Sit immediately diagnosed my problem... it is not due to my lack of tear production but its about my blocked oil glands. Dr. Sit was kind, knowledgeable and complete. I highly recommend him!
