Dr. Cole and his staff are a breath of fresh air. Highly professional and caring for their patients. Along with quality care they have great frames to choose from and more colors and styles that can be ordered. Dr. Cole took the time to explain different options, was patient when I was wiggly with the eye drops, and took the time to build the prescription I needed. I then picked out some frames in styles I liked and the staff helped me find the perfect shape for my face while maintaining the style I originally chose. When I came back to pick up my prescription they adjusted the glasses for my face and said I can come in at any time to do any adjustments needed if they start slipping.

From the front desk to assistants it was friendly, timely, and a good experience. The eye doctor in this case a pleasant woman explained the outcome of my tests with expertise and thorough knowledge. She listened carefully taking notes(i so appreciate that) and gave me thoughtful options. I'm 76 years old and have been to other eye doctors but this is the BEST.

I had an issue where I got my contact lens folded/stuck in one of my eyes. Despite not being a current patient, Dr. Cole made time to squeeze me in not even 2 hours after I called to help me get the contact out. Very friendly, along with his staff. I was impressed/grateful for the service to the point where I chose to make an appointment to have my next eye exam with Cole Family Eye Care. Highly recommend, and thank you Dr. Cole!

I used to go to another place then my child's school gave us a voucher to Cole's family. I took her in and was absolutely in awe of their technology and friendly atmosphere, especially for children. Since then I have moved my whole family over to them! I just picked up my new glasses and I love the little goodie bag of glasses care kit, pen, and a little chocolate. It's the little things that add the touches. Highly recommend!

Dr. Cole and his staff are amazing!! The office staff was extremely warm and welcoming. I made an appointment last minute due to some eye issues, and they got me in asap. Although my anxiety was high, Dr.Cole made me feel comfortable right away. He was kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He explained what was going on in a clear, precise manner. I had a wonderful experience here. I took my young kids in for a check up and the staff were very friendly with them and extremely patient. The equipment is very up to date. Dr. Cole seemed very on top of the current science and practices for his field of research. The staff was also great about trying to keep costs down for our family. We will definitely continue to use them for our family eye care needs.

My daughter and I are both patients of Dr. Cole and have been for 5 years. We followed him from A to Z in Arcata, and I am so happy we did. His staff is great and he is awesome. He is very caring and thorough. He is also great with children, even when they are having a bad day, which my daughter was on her last visit. He was very patient and kind.
