Costco Vision Center

On December 22nd, we had a terrible experience with an employee named Cesar M, He's a bald man, and we went in around 11 AM. We were there to renew our membership; we had the executive membership and were changing it to the gold one. I was wearing work clothes, and he looked me up and down, and when I asked if there was a problem, he already had a very rude attitude. I felt discriminated against. I paid for my membership and asked if he was going to give me a new card, and he said no. When I went to pay, they told me I needed the new card and that I had to go get it. I had to go back and stand in line again. As soon as Angel saw me in line, he just smirked. Please pay attention to your employees and train them to treat customers properly.

We came in and spoke to maritza and let me just say she has been one of the rudest sales persons i've ever spoken to. When we were trying to try on glasses she constantly dropped in rude comments and had an attitude if we asked for other brands of frames. At one point my dad tried on glasses and maritza left a comment saying "I don't like them but they are better than the ones before". If you want to have a say in the type of glasses you want DO NOT come to this costco's optical center and speak to her. She's gonna leave snarky comments and feedback as if she's the one picking out your glasses so you'll be better off staying away from that place!

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. When you get glasses at Costco you get what you get! Their returning policy it's hidden in one of ther drawers. Their lab it's poor and inaccurate. They did my prescription wrong. Limited variety of brand glasses. They lady laugh at me when I told her I wanted to return my glasses. I had to speak to the manager for not making clear Their 90 day policy. Won't get glasses at Costco ever again. Rude and mediocre service.

I've been here for one hour. No acknowledgment, called passed our number quick and said yep sorry called your number. Krystal has a very rude demeanor. I wasn't upset about wanting due to people just not being ready when talking with them.

Dr Chen is awesome! He explains everything with clarity. I appreciate him and his team for going above and beyond for me, for providing me with an extra trial pair of contacts, while I waited for my contacts to arrive.

Optical- been there for a few years. Good dr and staff. I'm contacted when due for appt and when my contacts come in. Recommended.

Costco optical Shaw 4500 W. Shaw I've been a Costco member since 1989 and I have never had this kind experience ,except last week for the first time I decide to have contacts lens and the receptionist doesn't wanted to helped me,or tell me how to use the contact lenses but instead of helping me she was rushing me out and telling me that she didn't have time for me, I ask her a question to ask the doctor if he could check if I had my contacts on ,and she give me a no with out asking the doctor ,hi cannot see you because you don't have an appointment and I told her I did have an appointment that's why I'm here ,I feel really discriminated from her against Hispanic people, because from the moment that I walked in I noticed the way that she was treating me ,she was really rude even if I had an appointment she still kick me out of the office , I understand that because of Covid rules ,but that didn't happen to the customer before me,hi was just sitting chilling in ,one of her own race she was speaking to his on his own language ,she was very cordial and polite and very helpful to him I felt very discriminated against my own race Hispanic people.

Terrible customer service. Front desk is rude. Equipment is pretty limited. Much better service available at literally any other optometrist
