Dr. Michael Mendoza was born and raised in Fresno, California. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. After graduation, he enrolled in the School of Optometry at the University of California, Berkeley where he completed his Doctor of Optometry degree and graduated with honors. During the course of his academic career, Dr. Mendoza was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. He previously served as the President of the Central California Optometric Society and is currently serving on the CaliforniaOptometric Association Board of Trustees.
