We literally drive down from Monterey every year to get our eyes examined and our glasses made. Focal Point (and Optical Jedi Ric) is that good. Dr. Arellano and Dr. Hsieh always do a great job with my kids' exams, and Dr. Pham fitted me perfectly with new contacts.
Ric Peralta is a nationally recognized expert in his field, and makes amazing custom glasses. He make my wife look in her new glasses!
Seriously, we drive 400 miles to avoid the private equity optical mills. You should too.

Dr. Hsieh was amazing! He advised that I had been using the wrong strength for my glasses for the last year! What I thought was "normal" was actually hurting my eyes! He answered all my questions and was patient with me while I processed the new information. The sales rep at the front desk was also very sweet and helpful. She waited patiently for me to pick out some frames and even offered suggestions based on face shape and personal preferences. The overall experience with this office was very pleasant - I was informed of costs each step of the way and the pros/cons of certain option. I would definitely recommend this office!

Highly recommend. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor was great. The doctor was very engaging with my son regarding the appointment and what he is looking at or assessing. The receptionist/assistant Erika was great being patient and accommodating to my son choosing his glasses like the price point to what looks better. The add on/enhancement for the glasses is more, so I do recommend looking it through and verifying if you want it or not take it off . Overall great experience.

Dr. Arellano and his team have cared for our family's eyes since shortly after he opened Focal Point on Malvern! My husband has a challenging eye condition. Dr. Arellano took the reins all those years ago and has been an amazing steward of his care, keeping on top of his progress and challenges, ultimately figuring out how to stabilize his corneas and thus his vision!
The five of us now see Dr. Arellano or Dr. Hsieh, always happy with our experience! Ric and the team run an efficient office and take great care of us selecting frames or ordering contacts!
