VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called them to inform them that my pharmacy did not have my medication because they had to send an authorization to my insurance. They told me they would do it and that they should have gave me some samples on the day of my consultation, well they did not. If I wanted the samples I could get them but only on Tuesdays or Wednesdays (I called on Thursday). The next week I called my insurance and they informed me that they had not sent the authorization yet. The insurance called them, I called them and they only sent you to an answering machine. When you manage to speak to someone they only say that the person in charge is not there and that they already left them a message that they will contact me and send a new prescription. I have called daily, because no one has contacted me, and it is the same response. Regarding the samples, I asked them to leave them at the reception because I wasn't sure at what time I could go, the were going to call me to conforming if it was possible, but again nothing. Now they tell me that I have to go to Arcadia to get them because the person who would give them to me will not be in Glendale the next few days. In sum up, I have no new prescription or samples, meanwhile my eyes are still bad and I have lost hours of work on the computer because my head hurts. My patience is running out, but they have your hands tied.

the staff in the front do not care to help if you aren't being recruited to be a new patient. been waiting for my glasses for months, a year before they didn't place an order for my contacts because they whispered in Spanish "I'm off in 15 minutes" to their coworker. I spoke Spanish as well and they didn't know. It was the young front desk worker. A week and a half later they finally returned my call to order my contacts. Insane. They don't answer your calls if you are a patient, they pick up immediately when you press 1 for new patient. Never come here. Horrible customer service. Go anywhere else!

I waited and waited and waited. Over an hour. Despite eyes being dilated, gave up and left. Typical USC healthcare - profit over patient.

I can no longer recommend this medical group. The whole enterprise has steeply declined in the three years since I had my first cataract surgery there. My first experience with Glendale Eye in 2019 was exemplary. At that time, all staff went above and beyond in both technical and administrative care. Sadly, this is no longer the case. There is now always over an hour's wait to see my doctor, who has been triple booked for the same appointment time more than once when I've seen him this year. The "surgical coordinator" who also seems to double as administrative supervisor, is almost totally unresponsive unless she is nudged and reminded to do her job. She does not answer calls or emails in a timely fashion at all. Always has to be reminded at least once before she does what she says she will. I have already been waiting two weeks to have my surgery paperwork completed and schedule finalized. At my last surgery It took ONE VISIT to the previous coordinator to have all the details of my surgery completed and scheduled! As of today I have cancelled my second surgery here and will tell everyone I know to steer clear. DR. PAUL IS STILL THE BEST THOUGH! Try to book him through somewhere else.

Michelle has assisted us for the past couple months. She is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. She has gone above to assist us whenever we have questions. We look forward to seeing her at each visit. She is an amazing health care worker to Glendale Eye practice! Please thank her for us!

Outstanding doctor and all around service!!! Dr. Drexl was so kind and attentive. I've never experienced better service from a doctor in a very long time, so thank you . The front desk, nurses, women at the frame display were all very nice to me as well. I was really pleased to see everyone wearing masks and social distancing inside. All around this is a five star place to go to if you need an eye exam. They take medi-cal too which is nice Thank you and I look forward to seeing you in a year from now

The place is clean big. However, Dr. Allan C. Drexl, poke my eyes, twice, almost intentional. I was just there to get my eye exam and to get glasses'. When Dr. Allan put drops on my eyes, he poke my eye with the dropper. My eye hurts for 4 days and hopefully not injured. The staff are great and I love my glasses.

My experience at Glendale Eye was a great one, especially with the help of Janet. She was so kind and helpful in helping me find the right frames which can be difficult at times. She was very patient and professional right from the beginning until the moment I left. I will definitely be recommending Glendale eye to my family and friends.
