Insight Optometry

I have to say, I took my mom here. Now, it's been awhile, a long while, 2006 while... My mom has one eye. Always went to eye places up in Tacoma, Wa. She came down here to visit me in LA and I brought her here, when they were inside Glendale Mall. My mom was ALWAYS diagnosed the wrong prescription. Always had neck pains, headaches, dizziness and the doctor always said," that's the best you'll ever have". Came here and thinking the same results would come. Mom stated crying, whatever Dr. Truc Dang did, she said she felt like ALL of the stress pulled off of her shoulders and instantly no more headaches. So Emotional. This place US the place to come, hands down. I haven't been back since 2005 due to moving out of state, but my mom is still doing well with that same pair that she prescribed. We must get back down to see her. Thank you SO very much.

Called to make an appointment. Front desk was not at all accommodating or flexible with any scheduling or slots, we had to be the one to pin down a day that worked for them. An appointment was made for less than a week later. My husband and I showed up, and there was no appointment in the books. He never even bothered to write it down or enter it anywhere. Literally, he was flipping through a binder looking for it. What respectable business does not have a digital backup of scheduling? The receptionist just looked confused and did not offer to resolve the problem in any way. Through a cracked door, a hoard of boxes was plainly visible. Disorganized and gross for a place that touches naked eyeballs. Husband called off work for this. Extremely unprofessional and stupid waste of our time. Go somewhere else. This place needs to be shuttered.

Dr. Truc Dang is the most personable Optometrist I've met with in LA after hopping from place to place for years, and I will absolutely be coming here for all my appointments going forward. They have a very positive and caring attitude, turning what could be the most boring part of your day into an enjoyable experience. I called near the end of the work day to see if they could squeeze in a last minute appointment (after realizing that I was on my last set of contacts), was being seen within 15 minutes of first dialing, and left the office with spare contacts to tide me over for the weekend until my order arrives. The space is clean and well-maintained, while the staff are courteous and professional. Seriously happy that I found this place.

I've been going to the Glendale Insight Optometry for more than 5 years now and I can truly say that they have the best customer service and selection of glasses. They also always help you maximize your insurance coverage and let you know about ongoing deals/rebates! Dr. Dang and Joe will always remember who you are and always make you feel good when you walk out the door. Thank you for everything!

I was so happy I gave this place a chance because everyone was wonderful there. Dr. Dang is so warm and engaged. She's just excellent at what she does, taking time to get your glasses and contacts just right. Perfect experience from beginning to end.

Rude receptionist. Had been coming here for years but left because instead of getting a professional response, the guy helping me laughed at me instead. Aside from that, selection is horrible and they aren't organized.

Always helpful staff. Have been doing eye exams and getting glasses and contacts here for almost ten years.
