Dr Arlene Yepremian not only is very kind and nice, she also is very knowledgable. She even spent time helping me choose frames! Really a great doctor!

The doctor was so patient with my 6 year old. I went to Lense Crafter and they did not even try to help us. At Jewel city the doctor tried to work with my daughter because she was very nervous. At her 2nd appointment she was more comfortable. Blessed to have found this jewel. So happy with the service and professionalism.

Dr. Arlene has a "can do" attitude. She will get to the very source of your vision issues. I had been to multiple optometrists and ophthalmologists over the years and I would get the same diagnosis. I would be told I have a minor astigmatism and glasses weren't really even needed. However, I was having other symptoms such as constant eye pain, neck pain, jaw pain, and eventually the pain and stiffness spread throughout my body. I was also having issues with anxiety while driving, lack of focus, and didn't even want to go in public anymore because I couldn't focus and felt overstimulated. I had been assaulted at 16 where I had a concussion and my symptoms started shortly after this. The appointment I had with Dr. Arelene was over 2 hours long and she did tests that I've never experienced before. I was diagnosed with binocular vision dysfunction. There's not a lot of optometrists who specialize in this disorder but thankfully she does. I was prescribed the correct treatment and my symptoms are improving. I kept trying to rush through the appointment because I didn't want to take too much of her time, but she told me it was my time and made me feel comfortable, not rushed, and heard. She really wants what's best for her patients. She is also very responsive when you e-mail her and that's so important. I traveled from Fresno to Glendale to see her and it was worth every minute! Dr. Yepremian is awesome. I needed new glasses and an eye exam so I scheduled with Jewel City Optometry and am so glad that I did. She is so patient, thorough, kind, and helpful. I am very inquisitive and always ask a lot of questions and she was more than happy to answer everything. I actually enjoyed my visit and left with two pair glasses - a transition lens pair and an amazing new lens technology called "Neurolens."
