I am so pleased that (sorry I didn't get her name) The lady that works the front desk gave me a nice price on my daughter's Michael Kors glasses and even put a rush in to have them made. I thought it was going to be about a week but I was called two days later on a Saturday by the way when they are closed and the sweet little Asian lady had my daughter's beautiful glasses all ready and did them herself she said on the weekend. I was shocked!!! I definitely need to go back and ask them their names and edit this review. This is my forever eyeglass shop while I live out here. I might even buy my next pair of Gucci sunglasses here since I don't wear prescription but definitely my daughter's next pair.
Flexible, professional, and very helpful. Immediately issued me a referral to see a retinal specialist which I got in to see two days later and had surgery two days after that. I would refer this eye doctor to anyone I know.
A lot of these reviews complain about the time it takes to get your glasses. The time it takes is based on your INSURANCE, not the place itself. If you buy your glasses outright, skipping insurance, they can have them ready in 30 minutes (as they did for me).
As for any unprofessionalism, yes, there is a little bit of it, but it's about the same as every other eye doctor I've ever went to.
Honestly, the fact that I paid only $60 for my current pair of glasses and it took me more time to go from the eye doctor, to petco, and back, than it did for them to have my glasses ready was a godsend.
I will be coming back, and I don't think I'll be switching eye doctors again.
I usually don't leave reviews, but I feel like it's important to share my experience. I feel it's also important to mention I've been coming to Jintau since I was a little girl and have never experienced this before. I went in to request contact lens samples for my mom, and from the start, the front desk was not welcoming. One young lady was helpful but then she got busy and Jennifer came to finish me up. She began with not be able to locate her file, which was already concerning. Especially since we come all the time and even last time they couldn't find her file.
When I mentioned that my mom really needed the samples, Jennifer made an unnecessary comment about "just buy the boxes then" instead of providing the sample boxes they had available. Her tone came off dismissive and rude. Throughout the visit, Jennifer continued to be unprofessional. My mom had been told earlier that morning over the phone that she could purchase just a pair, but in person Jennifer told me that wasn't allowed. Instead, she insisted my mom would need to purchase full boxes for over $250, and only then would she consider giving samples. She even said directly, "We don't do free stuff, we're a business." Which makes 0 sense if we're asking to purchase them? I even mentioned that the lady from the morning said she could, it would've been nice she did it for us this time and then mention it couldn't happen again.
Again, I fully understand that businesses need to make money, but the way this situation was handled lacked empathy, professionalism, and respect. The attitude and contradictions left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome. This experience has made me question whether I would want to continue coming here at all. On another note, I love Two and am so sad I had to experience this and loose my doctor who I have felt comfortable with my entire life due to a rude desk lady.
This office is committing FRAUD. I went here for an eye injury and not only felt like my issue was dismissed and the Dr. took all of ten seconds to look at my eye, I then get a letter in the mail saying IEHPhas approved services. Geat, you may think, but the services approved are services I DID NOT get. Such as a total comprehensive exam, frames and even fitting for frames TWICE. I will be filing a report with my insurance in hope's that this place of practice is, at the very least, questioned and punished for taking advantage of the system
Great place, service is excellent. They have a lot of business, that's great! I'm forever losing, breaking my glasses. I can buy a pair in the morning and usually have it ready days end. Thank you for your excellent work.
DO NOT COME HERE Worst optometrist I've ever been to. 1st I ordered pink lenses. They look over 3 weeks to arrive and they were brown. I did not even get a case or anything with the glasses, they just handed me the glasses alone not even a rag to clean. I then asked for my prescription over the phone and the lady said the process was too long to do over the phone so I have to come in. The Process being to send an email and sign it. SMH. The staff was overly rude, doctor himself was rude and made remarks about everything I commented on why I need glasses. Do not go here. Whole time I was there the staff was only worried about talking down on the patients. The office is very messy they have papers and files all over the place. Very un professional
Only reason to be giving a 1 start is to be able to leave a review , I hope a lot of you people read this review and take into consideration before coming! I am some one who comes from owning a business with 5 star rating and it literally makes me in disbelief on how horrible there staff and professionalism is even including the doctors which I guess , if there own doctor has horrible customer service you can only image the staff . They had horrible customer service towards my elderly mother who needed help on which glasses to get , there was 2 girls that were kind but the receptionist with the Chinese tattoo on her neck , was extremely rude to my mother asking her very sarcastically on how she doesn't understand what glasses she needs , mind u my mother is elderly and if she knew what glasses she needed she would have not need to take an eye exam . I dont really feel like I need to explain more and waste more of my time writing this , I hate to write a bad review about a small business but wow , just wow on the customer service it makes me almost laugh on how horrible the receptionist is that I feel bad for her but anyways I wouldn't recommend this place . Some may have a good experience maybe but me and my mother didn't .
