Excellent office visit. Sandra administered my tests and drops. She was very professional, experienced and kind. Dr. Marvasti M.D. did the exam and answered my questions with expertise and confidence. Highly recommend!

1st let me clarify for those yelpers doing a CHECK IN. As soon as I arrived I did the Yelp Check In and immediately received a Yelp check-in offer (these offers are a way for business to recognize new clients or reward loyal customers) I asked several people at the office regarding the FREE GIFT promoted with the offer, sadly no one there had any idea. Therefore, I was not able or allowed to redeem a gift. ASIDE FROM THAT Medical facility is beautiful, luxurious, clean, classy-style; with revolutionary medical devices in Ophthalmology, Coastal Vision Medical Group has it all. Once again aside from the staff not having any knowledge of the Yelp offer, I did feel that the staff and medical technicians had a caring and friendly demeanor. Dr. Dan Tran is the Medical Director. I felt confortable with the comprehensive eyes examination provided by Doctor Tran (the only negative I have regarding our initial encounter was that he never introduced himself to me) and the only reason I knew he was the Doctor was by his medical scrubs because his name was printed on it. After the examination we had a light hearted conversation regarding the "FREE GIFT" and we laughed about me getting NEW eyes as a gift. All in all, I am grateful that my eyes are healthy and that my vision is good. I did schedule another routine examination 12 months from today.

My first time visit for cataract examination was perfect, coming in: a little anxious, getting out: feeling comfortable, completely satisfied. The doctor's professional manner is excellent, clear and assuring in the answers and explanations! The staff members were nice and courteous. The clinic is spotlessly clean

Pre-op: On time, understable, professional. The surgeries: were easy & I HAD been concerned. They made sure to take very good care of me! Post-op: the light treatments were easy. The lock-in, taking longer, was a bit intense, but manageable. Note that I'm light sensitive & light can trigger nasty headaches. But, I had mild ones, & only twice. My eyes were a bit sore & dry, which is normal. Drops & a day later & all's well. 5 stars all the way! I'd say you deserve better than 5.

I was scheduled to see Dr Bao-Thuy this afternoon as a new patient. My appointment was at 3PM. I was seen by a technician and optometrist an hour and 45 minutes later. Both of them assured me that I will be seeing Dr Bao-Thuy during my visit. At 5PM, I was told by the optometrist that Dr Thuy will not be seeing me today and I can go home. Even after repeated tries to see Dr Bao-Thuy, I wasn't able to do so. This experience is highly unprofessional and shameful on their part to treat an elderly first time patient in such a way. I will be reporting Dr Bao-Thuy to the Medical Board as well as my insurance plan. Hopefully this review will warn other prospective patients to steer clear away from this awful practice.

Excellent care. Not a long wait. The doctor was friendly, very knowledgeable, and supportive. I continue to have an excellent experience each time I am at Coastal Vision. That's it.

Doctor deserves max review points for his thoroughness, kindness and explaining options in detail. Staff is also fabulous (front office and medical staff)

Stephanie and the whole crew are great !!! Very professional they're very concerned and they want to make sure that you as the patient leaves with the best view possible and they knocked it out out of the park or I would say. A hole in one -golf lol thank you !!!
