Hikel and the amazing ladies help me getting my contacts and glasses this morning all under an hour!! Super kind and friendly staff, clean store!! Amazing options and even better service! Plus I love my new glasses they are so cute!! I came in originally to just get contacts but I saw these and loved them!! Be aware also, the service center that takes the call doesn't always have the correct info so they may tell you one thing and the store might have another but they are very understanding and helpful despite the situation still amazing prices and care. Thanks eveyone !!

Horrible experience, guy at th front would not answer my question and seemed to just get a sale. I inquired about just getting another pair of the same exact prescription I had. Had convinced me to do another eye exam, but prior to me agreeing, I asked over and over if they still had their deal for the 70+ eye glass , because I was already a previous client here and just needed another pair. after the eye exam, he said go ahead and choose any frame I like. I asked about the results and the previous question I asked prior to doing the same and he just kept dodging the question. Eventually he was charging me 500+ and I said I couldn't do it, then he said just pay for the eye exam then. I was shocked, left me no choice even though I wanted to argue with this guy. Paid 80$ and didn't even get a new pair which I asked when I first got there about the promo. So disappointing, guy just seemed like he was really concerned didn't even look at me when I was asking him things, instead I dropped 80$ and left the store. Thanks a lot. I want my money back, not gonna come here again

Be very careful what you pay for and what you're actually getting. I placed an order with Haley for a set of Coast glasses but now that they broke and I am trying to replace them, I find out they sold me Coast on the invoice and charged me for Coast but gave me Hong Kong instead because my label has Hong Kong model number on the bag! Very shady.

They are amazing. Had issues at first, but quickly taken care of and more. Set me up with everything I needed and I'm super grateful. Thank you Stanton! Extra shout out to the eye doctor on 9/24/25 she was absolutely incredible!

Outstanding service , The girl that helped me was so nice and helpful very communicative about each step of getting new glasses Thank you for for making my trip fun we even had a laugh ,when sizing the glasses I would definitely go here again it was fun

I've purchased lenses and frames here several times and just received amazing customer care again. The Frames/Lenses I purchased 4 months prior were accidentally scratched by my children. I brought them in expecting to buy new lenses which aren't cheap. I was well taken care of and paid a small portion of the overall price to replace! Thank you and will be back! Highly recommended!

This was the worst experience I have ever had, not only at a doctor's office, but at a retail store. I had gone in for an eye exam and contact fitting, which I assumed would be easy. The optometrist was not present; it was more of a Zoom (which is fine, just would have liked to have been informed beforehand). The assistant didn't even look at my eyes during the contact fitting; she just told me to put them in and let her know if they felt okay. The whole reason I went in was to switch from bi-monthly to dailies, then she only pulled bi-monthlies. Throughout the experience, they focused on upselling items rather than addressing actual concerns. At checkout, they informed me that they did not, in fact, take my insurance, despite asking and showing my card to the gentleman when checking in, and he had assured me it was fine. I paid via credit card and left. Once home, I realized there were additional charges on my invoice that I hadn't received. I called back and was yelled at. The gentleman on the phone was literally screaming, and then he hung up on me. I called back, and a woman answered and was very apologetic and nice, she helped me get in contact with their team to get the refund. I have since gone to a new optometrist and got a wildly different prescription than Stanton. I wish that I had read reviews from "newest" and seen that this business has gone downhill in recent months.

I went in for an eye exam because I needed new glasses. My last exam was about four years ago at Eyeglass World in El Cajon. Since it was Sunday and most places were closed, Google suggested Stanton Optical because they were open. When I called to schedule my appointment, no one mentioned that the "doctor" would be virtual on a TV screen. During the exam, the "doctor" spoke to me through a TV, and I could clearly hear other people (possibly children) in the background on his end, it was extremely unprofessional. Still, I figured I'd finish the exam, pick out some glasses, and get it over with. Unfortunately, I didn't like any of the frames they had, so I decided to just pay for the exam and take my results elsewhere. When I went to pay, I was told the total was $102, even though I was quoted $79.99 over the phone. The front desk said it was because they did an "additional test" I never requested. The whole experience was terrible. unprofessional exam, surprise charges, and zero confidence in the results. I told them I didn't even want the results and left. Honestly, I feel like I just donated $80 to Stanton Optical. GO ELSEWHERE.
