Idoc Optometry

This optometry office is so wonderful. Upon arrival, Jackie and Grace at the front desk were welcoming and friendly while I filled out my initial paperwork. It felt like walking in and chatting with people you have known for a long time. Jackie got me checked in quickly and my appointment started exactly on time. Run and book your appointment with Dr. Gonzalez-- she was AMAZING! She is the best and most thorough optometrist I have seen in years, ever since my longtime optometrist retired. Throughout my appointment, she took her time with me and was so incredibly patient and empathetic while listening to all of my concerns. She offered to let me stick with my usual contact lens brand, but also gently suggested trying a different brand without making me feel pressured at all. I am so glad that I took her suggestion and switched. My lenses are much more comfortable, my vision is sharper, and all the irritation and eye strain I've been dealing with has completely disappeared. I also appreciate that no one ever tried to push products or make me feel obligated to buy anything. They laid out all the options, but were very respectful of my choices. I've been to so many optometry offices where staff get visibly annoyed if you do not purchase through them, but this place was the opposite. I loved my experience here so much that I ultimately decided to get both my contacts and my glasses here. They had a great selection of frames available. Grace was so sweet while I was perusing frames and offered lots of insightful advice about what frames would work best with my strong prescription. Once I picked out my frames, she went through each line item to determine the best lens options for me. She explained the pros and cons of each option, but never pressured me to upsell anything. In fact, there were more expensive options available for the lenses that she steered me away from, knowing that the marginal benefit wouldn't be worth the added costs. I can't wait for my new glasses to come in! This office brings a level of care and warmth that is a breath of fresh air. I am so grateful to have found them!

I've been seeing Dr Uyeda for over 30 years. He's an excellent optometrist. Very thorough and kind. Nice staff and a great selection of eyeglasses.

Very professional and kind workers

Purchased two pairs of prescription glasses here recently. I opted for the scratch resistant coating on my girlfriend's lenses, and within just 2 days of normal use, cleaning only with the cloth and spray provided by the store, the lenses were already scratched. When I brought this up, I was told the only option was to file a warranty claim and pay $35, which would also count as our one time yearly warranty use. That didn't sit right with me, considering the glasses were brand new and properly cared for. "Scratch-resistant" shouldn't mean scratching almost immediately under normal use. This feels more like a defect or quality issue, not something that should fall on the customer to pay for. Disappointed with how this was handled, especially the lack of accountability or willingness to stand behind the product. Would have expected better service and support for a brand new purchase.
