Marvin Forman, OD

We love this place. I started coming about 17 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. Now, both my kids and my husband go as well. They are real people, not just an optometrist business, and we are not just a number or another patient to them. They treat us like friends, not just customers, and that feels good. We continue to go even though we moved further away because of the individuals who work here and their "small business" style of customer service. Thank you, Dr. Forman, Dr. Salamone, Marie, and Kim. You are all the best!

Not sure why the reviews are so low, my family and I have been coming here for years and Dr. Forman is the best! So are the ladies at the front office! Always caring and helpful, Dr. Forman takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and really cares about his patients. My daughter got her glasses within 2 weeks as promised.

This place was recommended to me so I made an appointment and when I showed up they didn't want to take me in because I had a cough. I can understand people don't want to get sick but they were making a big deal about it. I rescheduled for the following week, giving them the benefit of the doubt and they never called me back to confirm the appointment time like they had done for the first appointment.I decided not to show up to that appointment. The way they acted was very unprofessional. Obviously this business does not care about their patients.

well I thought the place was great.... and they worked with me on the price of my frames... Doc was efficient and took me and my sister in at the same time so we could get out of there faster... the staff was friendly and helpful, even helped me pick out a style of frames... love them!

This has to be one of the worst businesses in La Mirada next to Cabo Taco. That Dr. Forman is a neurotic moron! If it wasn't for Dr. Solomone's help, I never would've gone through with my follow up appointment. I do not recommend this place to anyone that needs glasses. If this was the last place on earth to get glasses, I'd rather walk around blind. DO NOT GO THERE! You've been warned.

Don't go here. This place is a rip off. My glasses were under warranty but they charged me $90 to fix them. La Mirada Optometry near Valley View and Imperial replaced a pair at no charge when they broke under warranty.

Dr. Forman is very unprofessional! He has literally yelled at me during an eye exam! Went there because it's so close to my house and they take my insurance but I will never go back! They made a mistake when they made my glasses and Dr. Forman got mad at me when I asked if they would correct it and make me a new pair! Now I am stuck with these glasses!

This entire staff is awesome and the facility is top notch! They have a great selection of glasses too. I have been cg here for many years. Highly recommend.
