I've been purchasing frames from Walmart for over 5 years, and only switched due to Sears closing. I had not had an eye exam in 3 years rather than the "required" 2 years (as Walmart will not fill a prescription over 2 yrs old) because I remember feeling uncomfortable with this Dr, and that something is off about him. I asked the receptionist that the door remain OPEN and she said she would write this on my chart. When my exam began, the Dr. read the instructions on my chart, and the door was opened only very slightly, maybe two inches. In less than 3 minutes, this Dr. seemed to "accidentally" brush against the door to close it, so that the door basically remained CLOSED for the entirety of the visit against my specific request. After I left the office, I realized that this Dr. had been very much offended by my request, and had "retaliated" by intentionally disregarding my request, and in this way was disrespecting and even "invading" and "violating" my privacy and personal "space" and "rights". Dr Lis was intentionally thumbing his nose in my face. It was a mistake not to VOCALLY INSIST THAT THE DOOR REMAIN OPEN. I do NOT recommend him as a personal optometrist and will NOT be returning.

Dr. Lis is the best most thourogh eye Dr. I've ever been to. My eyes have been examined every year for the last 35 yrs so I have been to many.

I'm so grateful to Dr Lis for his patience and understanding of my extreme sensitivity to light. He took his time working hard to make sure he had the best reading for my prescription. Plus he explained exactly what a cataract looks like and how it changes on a diagram for my better understanding. I wish all doctors were as thorough and kind as he is. I will be back next time and recommend him to my friends and neighbors. He's by far the best anyone could find based on my past experiences with others that were mostly unsatisfactory.
