The tech that assisted me was amazing. I do not remember his name but he was so knowledgeable, explained everything that he was going to do and the reason for the exam/tests. I told him I had major anxiety due to the reason I was referred to this office and he was very calm and understanding. The Doctor was also great and reassured me that everything was okay and understood my anxiety and was patient with me. I would definitely recommend this office.

On my first visit to this center, I encountered a team of courteous and highly skilled staff who were excellent in the services they provided. I found Dr. Collins to be a confident, personable specialist who genuinely enjoys offering information that brings peace of mind. The only minor issue--easily overlooked--was that the waiting time was a bit longer than it ideally could be.

Dr. Tompkins is really great. He is very friendly and shows how he is glad to see you. I feel like he is really wanting to help me and has great advice. I left my visit feeling very encouraged. I highly recommend Dr. Thompkins.

We have visited this office multiple times for my father's cataract surgery with Dr Tompkins. There's nothing to complain about this office. All the staff, nurses, and the doctors we have met, especially Dr Tompkins himself, were very friendly, professional, and caring! I had an outstanding experience at Azul Vision in Laguna Hills with Dr. Claudia Montana-Collins, O.D., FAAO. From the moment I met her, she radiated warmth, kindness, and genuine care. She took her time throughout my exam, never making me feel rushed, and truly listened to every question and concern I had. Her positivity and attentiveness made the entire experience feel personal and comforting. (Dr. Collins) I had a very disappointing experience with this optometrist due to unprofessional conduct and inaccurate service. The initial eye exam was not done thoroughly, which resulted in an incorrect prescription. Because of this, I had to return for retesting--something that should not have been necessary had proper procedures been followed from the start. Instead of taking responsibility, the doctor attempted to blame the patient and claimed the new prescription was "exactly the same" as the previous one, which later proved to be false. This lack of accuracy caused unnecessary frustration, wasted time, and multiple visits just to get a correct prescription for glasses. Additionally, there was a noticeable hygiene issue during the appointment. The doctor had very strong, unpleasant breath, which made the interaction uncomfortable and felt unprofessional in a clinical setting. Basic professional hygiene is important in healthcare, and this was hard to overlook. May I suggest wearing a mask during all appointments to ease patients' suffering. Overall, this practice lacked attention to detail, accountability, and professionalism. I would not recommend this optometrist and suggest patients consider other providers to avoid repeat visits and unnecessary inconvenience.

He was incredibly patient and gentle with my mom, explained everything in a way she could easily understand, and made sure she felt comfortable every step of the way.
