Dr. Jonathan Gording Optometry

I am so glad I found Dr. Gording. I've been complaining about dry eyes for years and suspected something more serious was happening, but every doctor said I was too young and just needed to use eye drops when I felt it was needed. When I expressed concerns and the discomfort I was experiencing during my appointment, Dr. Gording immediately hopped in to address my concerns. Turns out I have MGD and there's practices I should have been, and will be, incorporating in my daily routine to maintain my eye health. I cannot express my relief at having found a doctor who actually listens to me and addresses my concerns with the same level of importance that I am placing on it. Not only that, but he gave me my new glasses, contacts and a computer prescriptions. His staff was also super friendly and knowledgeable. 100% recommend coming to see Dr. Gording!

As a fellow healthcare professional, I'm particularly discerning when it comes to my own care, and I can confidently say that there is no finer optometrist in West Los Angeles than Dr. Jonathan Gording. Since my recent eye surgery, he has followed my progress closely. When I experienced sudden discomfort in one eye , he managed to see me the same day, despite his quite full schedule. His office staff is wonderfully kind and accommodating. The friendly atmosphere, complete with an adorable, friendly little dog, makes every visit a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Gording and his team!

Dr Gording's eye exam sessions are always very thorough and detail oriented. He takes time to explain things and answer my questions. Overall, Dr Gording is an excellent ophthalmologist. The office staff is also super friendly and helpful.

I am visiting out of state and forgot one of my contacts at home. Unfortunately my prescription expired. I explained my situation and Dr. Gording squeezed me in! He has a wonderful selection of glasses, state of the art equipment and an amazing staff! I will be recommending this place to friends that live in West LA.

Doctor Gording is the best - some even say the G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time)! I've been seeing him for 15+ years and most recently my 10-year old daughter became a patient and started her journey with contact lenses. I can say she is the toughest of customers with respect to putting something in her own eye and I wondered if we'd ever get there. Low and behold, Doctor Gording and his lovely staff were incredibly persuasive, patient and skilled at helping her making the breakthrough. She is so proud of herself and I'm one proud Papa. Dr Gording was extremely knowledgable and professional. The receptionist, Melanie, was also extremely informative and helpful. Both of them are funny, smart, and caring people. I had been going to my previous optometrist for 20 years and I won't be going anywhere else after finding this place.
