Dr. Uday Devgan, MD

You're truly in excellent hands with Dr. Devgan. He is clearly born to do cataract surgery and lens replacement--anything involving the eye, really. His expertise is obvious, yet he makes the entire process feel effortless. He's cheerful, reassuring, and put me completely at ease from start to finish. His staff is outstanding as well, from the office to the surgery center. I highly recommend Dr. Devgan--he absolutely gets the job done right. I am grateful and thankful to have my vision restored!

Writing this one month after my procedure, I'm very glad I chose Dr. Devgan for my cataract surgery. At the consultation, he took the time to clearly explain the entire process and discuss my options, and patiently answered all of my questions to make sure I felt fully informed. Dr. Devgan was recommended by a close friend and Ophthomologist back home in Indiana while we were wintering in California. Dr. Devgan was very reassuring that he could correct my cataract and astigmatism even though I had some underlying conditions. His exam was very thorough and I was impressed with the amount of time he spent explaining what he would do. I am happy to say that the surgery was very successful. I recently saw the news about Dr Devgan performing the first human robotic procedure. As usual, it seems Dr Devgan continues to be at the forefront of the field of cataract surgery. He performed my cataract surgery a little over a year ago. Mine was a complicated case because of my retinopathy (I am 69), but in Dr Devgan's magic hands the surgery went flawlessly and the outcome was perfect. I still can't believe how much my quality of life has improved. If you are looking for a cataract surgeon, especially if yours might be a challenging case, you owe it to yourself to look up Dr Devgan. You'll quickly find that this "doctors' doctor" is the Michael Jordan of cataract surgery. Not only that, in spite of his busy schedule, he is one of the most empathetic and responsive medical practitioners I have come across, and I consider myself extremely lucky to have found him.
