Dr. Chak was so helpful in finding a different venue to do my cataract surgery, because I had no one to drive me. He was very open and professional and was always prompt in responding to my messages. Highly recommended. I'm tying just fine without glasses because I have to wait 4 weeks to see the optometrist.

I have been a Kaiser member for 15 plus years. I was treated by Dr. Chak for glocomia in my left eye and instructed to put eye drops in my left eye once a day. Moving forward two years later, Dr. Chak conducted another eye exam and said " something happened to your right eye, start putting drops in your right eye". I was somewhat confused and left with many questions, WHAT HAPPEN TO MY RT EYE, is there nerve damage, to what extent....... PLEASE EXPLAIN. Dr. Chak then stood up proceeded to the door and said check out with the nurse and left the room. He didn't explain the treatment plane moving forward. I was left totally confused. I am now looking for a 2nd opinion and a new Optimologist. I have been waiting since 5/16/25, Over 3 weeks for a referral from Dr. Chak and have not received one.......TOTALLY Unacceptable!!! GOOGLE RATING:4.3

Dr. Chak is absolutely my favorite doctor ever. My husband has been going to him for years and praises him highly, so when it came time for me to have cataract surgery, I requested Dr. Chak. He is so very kind and professional. My surgery was successful. I can see better now than when I was in my 20s. I am forever grateful to Dr. Chak

Let me start by saying that over booking patients is never a great experience for the patient but over booking so badly where you're keeping patients waiting OVER AN HOUR in a hospital environment DURING A PANDEMIC IS IRRESPONSIBLE & REPREHENSIBLE!!!
