I had bought a Gentle Monster sunglass 2 years ago and was impressed on how sturdy and high quality the product is. I went to check out the showroom in person with the intention of maybe buying one more. And behold, I came out with not one but three. I knew it was going to be scary for my wallet but it was well worth it. There are a lot of variety of frames and len colors. Every showroom staff were friendly. I do want to make a major shout out to 2 particular humans in there.

I was able to try them on and they helped me compare and discuss which specs complimented my facial shape or enhanced my tone. I never felt rushed. Incredibly cool vibe! It's not your normal eyewear store and it's a very low key experience with the eyewear associates. Mid tier pricing - on trend retro frames - think 90s and the aughts- with interesting collaborations and an art gallery aesthetic throughout the store!

Today we visited the showroom to try on a few pairs of glasses and purchase the one we liked. We have been browsing the collection online for a long time, and this is the only showroom in Los Angeles where we can actually try the glasses on and check the quality in person. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a very unfriendly female sales consultant who looked us up and down and made it clear she didn't welcome customers who simply try things on. We actually came intending to buy, but even if we were only browsing, that's no reason for such behavior. Her cold, rude tone left us shocked and uncomfortable, so we decided to leave immediately. A very unpleasant experience--this showroom left a truly negative impression.
